Did Jesus himself pray and recommend prayer?

Jesus is the universal deity?

God himself prayed to himself and separated the will of that God from his own?

Confusing yes. I think Jesus was more in the form of meditation rather then prayer, plus Jesus was only God in human form, there was still someone up in the sky making sure things go smoothly.

Well the thing about the Trinity is that it is One God in Three persons. So He can talk to the Father, Father to the Holy Spirit, Spirit to the Son etc.
