Anyone who has never been betrayed is either very young or has lived inside all her life. Betrayals come from many directions and not just individuals. After the shock, hurt, anger, and grief, we can let betrayal be a vehicle to introspection and personal growth. Good luck on your spiritual and practical path.

I think a better question might be "Who hasn't been two-timed?"
It makes you feel rejected and you feel foolish for trusting that person. It can make you feel inadequate if you are not careful. It is the other person's problem and not yours.
What did you do? Broke it off and moved on...........just can't trust a cheater. Forgive? Yes. Trust? No.
Sorry if you're going through this........

No. I have really only dated one guy. The guy I'm with now and we have been together 6 years. I was very very picky. That's how you prevent some things. Not that it can't happen.

I haven't, but what happened to me felt like it. It was awful. I wanted to punch him. He told me to punch him. But I love him so I couldn't do it. Now he won't take me back. He says just to forget him. I don't want to. I want him to leave this ridiculous business of some "other" girl at work alone. I want him to quit his job. He says this girl also had a bf with my religion and she felt that he was controlling. That makes me so mad. Maybe I should get with her ex...

It made me feel this small (holding index finger and thumb together). I didn't do anything - the key is to be the bigger person and not retaliate

Yes, I have. At first, I was a bit angry, a bit heartbroken, but then I quickly realized that I wasn't that into her anyway.

I didn't really care. I wasn't married or anything. What can you do about it. Just move on and be glad that you are rid of them now.

I doesn't feel good.
Being lied to by a loved one never feels good.
