It's not. What is wrong is people that have no idea about homosexuality judge them all the time.

Get over it. The sooner the world accepts it the more beautiful the world would be

That homosexuality exists is not in dispute of course...nor is this a question of whether homosexuality is genetic...as it stands, that has no bearing on what is considered right or wrong according to the Bible, and in fact homosexuality is not endorsed by any major religion.

Homsexuality is sexual immorality according to the Bible, and it is seen as such in Judaism and Islam, and similarly is looked down upon in Hinduism as well.

In Christianity we believe that homosexuality is a sin because we believe God and we believe that God created men and women, one for the other. He did not create men for men in a sexual sense, nor women for women. It is clear from basic biology that men and women are made for each other, just as with any other creature that is not an asexual being.

God designed us to mulitply and in doing so, we were meant to do so God's way not our own. We were to be committed to each other as man and wife according to God's plan. This is why there was such a specific mention that a man can not sleep with his mother, sister, aunt, etc...There are the boundaries to proper behavior that have not changed.

It is the same with relationships today, adultery is wrong, as is any incestuous relationship as it is specified in the Bible. We do not question this, yet for some reason...when we are given rules to follow, we choose to break them.

It is no different with homosexuality. We are told not to do so, and as a course, people seek to break this rule. This does not prove that the Bible is wrong in its morality, but instead only demonstrates our desire to do wrong, to choose darkness over the light.

John 3:19 -
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

We inevitably choose to do what we wish because in our own eyes, what we do is right. We assume that just because we have the proper intent, that it makes the actions right. God is right and true, and there is no evil in Him, and as such has Authority over all creation...it would be good to listen to Him. If the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, because the very act goes against God's will, then it will never be right. It may be legal, but it will never be right.

As Christians, always know that we are not to ever hate any homosexual person. We are not to hate anyone for their sins, because we are just as guilty according to the commandments that we all break, and do not deserve the gift Jesus Christ gave us. We did not earn it, nor can we ever work or do enough good deeds for it. It is free to any who choose Christ and turn from their sins with His help.

God Bless!

If you don't believe the Bible why are you bringing up the ten commandments. The book of Leviticus and Romans both tell us that Homosexuality is a sin. God gave them over to their own desires beaus they Knew him and did not acknowledge Him as God.
Sin has negative consequences. Gay men die early, see.

Because a tribe that doesn't reproduce like rabbits is going to be replaced by one that will. Homosexuality is 'sinful' because it threatens the survival of the tribe. The same thing applies for eating shellfish, pork, insects, and anything else that people observed making people sick or dying.

We're a social species; Biblical commandments are, broadly, turning things that are selective advantages into God's Law.

if you write this off as wrong without reading all of it, you will not understand

homosexuality promotes other sins. the closest thing to homosexuality in this area is porn. what is porn? fornication; the condoning of sexual immorality. when you watch porn you are basically saying it is okay for people to be unfaithful, lustful, unsaitisfiable, 'dirty' and undervalue a person, engaging with them purely to temporarily appease their lusts.

with homosexuality, the lifestyle, not homophilia, when you accept it, you are rejecting God's ordained sexual practices. homosexuality also promotes giving into urges, rebellion, judging others, condoning other sins, arrogance (esteeming yourself higher than other sinners), not listening and being quick to speak, and of course, many of the other sexual sins.

by "judging", I am referring to the calling of everyone who does not support them afraid or hateful. that is a judgemental and inaccurate statement. by rebellion, I am referring to the common trends in most homosexuals.

note that homosexuality and homophilia are different. living a contrary lifestyle is blatently wrong. having urges or feelings, that's nothing you can help short of a miracle. God does not hate homophiles or homosexuals. He hates homosexuality.
