Very true, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would not have done this. I wish we would all follow his example. May Allah's peace and blessings always be upon beloved Prophet Muhammad and all the Prophets and Messengers of Islam.

There is just a few things here if a Muslim does a sin, this does not bring them out of the fold of Islam, even though their actions maybe abhorrent. Just a few things about the quote, the man said, "Advise me" the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said, "Don't become angry." The man asked three times and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the same answer.
We also have to recognize that anger has to be channeled in a constructive manner. If someone is insulting someone we cannot stand by and remain silent but we also cannot transgress the boundaries, by overreacting. This is our problem at the moment we are over-reacting. There has to be a rational reaction that comes in the same tongue as the accusation.

Being a Muslim is not easy. Allah knows what is best for the people. It is much harder to hold in your anger than releasing it. Allah & his prophet know and are certain that releasing anger can create many problems and can make lives mesarable. This is why PBUH said: Be not angry. And actually whoever holds in his anger gets rewarded by Allah. The prophet was known for being very calm & not angry at all. Non-believers in Makkah were throwing him with stones, abusing him, swearing at him, the Prophet's followers were bursting of anger, but he was calm. Did you know, scientifically it was proven that the more angry you get, the less you live? Didn't I say in one of my answers that whetever Allah & Muhammd forbid is actually bad for you.
I know that there are many people who cannot control their anger, believe me, I was one of them. Now, even if someone is trying to make me angry intentionally, I can control myself. Words are just words, I try not to get angry because this is a characteristic of a true Muslim.

I agree with you 100%. I was thinking of the same exact thing yesterday, when a user asked why Muslims always start riots. Muslims are giving Islam a bad name; our prophet would never want this. Let's leave it to God to take care of those who disrespect us, we shouldn't use violence and start riots. God says in the Quran that he loves those who persevere, so we should persevere in tolerating others and stay kind even though there are disrespectful people out there. God knows best.

The problem with Islam is that it is every man for himself. Anyone can decide for himself. The Islamists are trying to bring all Muslims together under the banner of Jihad to defeat the West. However, I believe the great Islamic war will be fought between those Muslims who seek peace and those who wish to bring it to war. This war will define Islam for the next century.

I am glad that you are proud for what you believe in...I am a CHRISTIAN ...whether you like it or not I will call you my brother or sister, because you are a beautiful creation of our heavenly FATHER....I hope and pray that you make your brothers and sisters be aware of the good teachings of ISLAM.....I know for a fact that almost all religions promote PEACE, LOVE and faith in the TRUE LIVING & LOVING GOD... I also believe that a religion not practiced and not practiced right is a dead religion, you have to do something about the violence and the disagreements of your brothers and sisters ... I am not saying everything that Christians do are correct, what I am trying to say is that WAR is never the only answer...war leads to death and chaos and painful life...so it is through people like you who can enlighten your misled and lied on brothers and sisters of yours.

There's a name for these people sis, hypocrites. They tell others not to do the things they are doing on the streets while degrading the name of Islam for their own selfish reasons. I agree with your post. Islam as the true practicing Muslims know is a religion of peace ... Islam is the only religion who's fundamental belief is to serve him ( the one and only omniscient and merciful) and to spread tolerance and love. Allah gives us so much and forgives so many of our sins, and as Muslims we have to follow what he says and these people who call themselves Muslims, cannot be Muslims because they don't support the root of Islam which is love for him and for one another.
Jazak Allah Khair sis.. as always lovely post

These people are not adhering to the sunnah of the Prophet on this issue. However you should not make takfir of them, and say they are not muslim. This is from the evil of the kuwarij.
