"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." -- 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 NIV

Jesus ate with tax collectors and sinners, was he yoked or unyoked? (Matthew 9:10-13 NIV).

What do you think of this? Anyone with eggsperience please rise and state your case.

As a little girl, I use to have this dream where I would wake up and see things in my room. Now, something keeps trying to wake me up at about 3AM or so, and tries to frighten me. All it really is doing is making me angry, and I am trying to defeat it... does any one know how?

Evolutionists claim that living things have improved and evolved over time. Fossils however demonstrate that living things that lived in the past were the same as their modern counterparts and they have not undergone any evolution.

A crab dated 150 million years fossil found still exists today?

A Coelacanth fish fossil dated 350-400 million years still exists today?

A thornback ray dated 75 million years still found toay?

A bat dated 50 million years still found today?

A starfish fossil dated 400 million years still found today?

A shark fossil dated 400 million years still exists today?

Could this be a blow to the theory Of Evolution by the Fossil record?

Could this be evidence Of creation In the Fossil record?

And invade Midguard(earth)?
No? Then why do you want me to worry about your imaginary sky pixie and what he may or may not think of me?
Seems kind of silly doesn't? Not worrying about one mythological creature but worrying about another?

It seems to me that many of the questions and criticisms of Christianity are based on pretty narrow views of faith, religion, the Bible, and Christianity in particular. I would be interested to know how many Atheists on here have actually done some serious study of Christian faith in some of its historical and non-evangelical forms. I would love to see some expanded arguments beyond the whole creation/evolution, literal Bible stuff. Do you know that there are MILLIONS of Christians who don't believe that stuff?? You like to play the intellectual superiority card-so bring it!

thier faith is one of Earths most beautiful things, but why is it that non of the local christians like me, just because i'm pagan now, i mean, i'm always polite to them and when i was young, before i turned pagan and they stopped liking me, i helped them out at the local church, so why do they not like me anymore, i haven't actually done anything to offend them, i told them that i still love them but they won't have it

Ok, I have my thoughts about what Christians believe from having once been a Christian and having listened to many Christians speak and write about what they believe. So, out of curiosity of whether or not Christians all share the same beliefs, what do you believe?Be honest.
On these issues:
1.Evolution
2.Homosexuality
3.Other beliefs
4.Atheist politicians
5.Atheism
6.Gender identity (sex changes)
7.Morality
8.Humanity
9.Global warming (man made)
10.Freedom of choice (not just on abortion but on any issue where personal freedom is a question of choice)

I ask this because I have seen a lot of opinions being posted and so now I want to see all the opinions answered together.

How can you be so sure that Allah is not the one true god, and that Islam is not the way to reach heaven? Those muslims sure seem to think they've got it right. Maybe they're on to something!

But I know you Christians are just as sure that Islam is a false belief, as we atheists are sure that Christianity is. I'm genuinely curious to see if the Christian/atheist answers are in any way similar. :)

Is it because I want to believe I am better than those who aren't in the cult, or because I want to feel safe from people out side of the cult, or because I want to use the cult to my advantage, or because I am too ashamed to admit that I was wrong to most fellow Christians? Or could it be that I'm looking for a crazy experience or just want to know alot, or am tired of plain Christianity? Why am I such a cult addict?

Why is it that the insignia for homosexuals is the rainbow?? The rainbow was made as a sign from God that he would not flood the earth ((like He did)) again ((see Genesis chap. 6-9)) why have people totally distorted it into something that represents a sin??

people, seriously...get a hold of yourselves...christians are so concerned about where they go when the die, that they forget to live in the life they have now....why be so concerned about where you go when you die? you'll find out when you get there. p.s. you CAN be moral without religion.

I often get sick and tired of so-called Christians who constantly moan about Christians not being perfect to continue their sinful attitude and behaviour. Read Matthew 5:48. Jesus commanded us to "Be perfect...as your heavenly Father is perfect." I can't stand it when professing Christians use the "I'm not perfect" line to justify their indifference to God's commands. Jesus did not condone it, Paul did not condone it, nor did any of the other biblical writers condoned that attitude. So all you so-called Christians who want to live like non-believers should stop this attitude or you will face the judgment of God.

I see all these people saying they receive hate mail, and I've never ever received any. It just occurred to me the other day that maybe I DO receive what other people would call "hate mail" and I just don't consider it hate mail or something. I have received mail of people trying to tell me I need to convert to their religion. But I never saw it as hateful.

When do you consider something "hate mail"?

And lo and behold they don't allow emails.

I got called a "goon" and a "creep" the other day for one of my questions about the Bible god.

Another guy told me I wasn't worth the bother, to answer my question (yet he bothered to email).

I had no idea the hate I could generate by asking questions about the Bible and the god therein. From people who don't allow email. Church people.

heaven. Jesus did not say that, what he said was it is harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, than a camel to go through the eye of a needle. He did not say it was impossible. I believe lots of rich people go to heaven, because they share their wealth with the poor. they are not all money mad. What do others think.

I definatly think I should be a muslim. I mean here are my options. I believe in God and I go to Heaven where I am told that there is no sex, or I believe in Allah and I get 72 virgins. I mean come on, it's no contest. The muslim religion has a better program with much better benefits.
