Satan always takes something God created for good and turns it into something bad.

Rainbows are a sign from God, a sign points you to something or somewhere. god really does not hate homosexuals any more than any other sinner, why do Christians assume so, we all feel better about God bashing the other types of sinners, but what about fornicators and adulterers, how many good Christians never speak against these even though the Bible does state plainly they will not enter into the kingdom of God; Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
How many Christians are idol worshipers also and nothing is said against them; Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
And if Sodom was the example America is just the same; Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
What about the star of David or the pyramid, I would not worry about Rainbows but your own Soul, make yourself right then start pulling splinters

I mentioned this to my lesbian niece who wears rainbows all the time and she said it has something to do with embracing diversity. The logo for "EMBRACE DIVERSITY" was the rainbow and it meant that it takes all kinds to make a beautiful world and tolerance is preferable to ignorance.
Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide. So we've been told and some choose to believe it. I know they're wrong, wait and see. Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me. Who said that every wish would be heard and answered when wished on the morning star? Somebody thought of that and someone believed it. Look what it's done so far. What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing and what do we think we might see? Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me. All of us under its spell. We know that it's probably magic. Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices? I've heard them calling my name. Is this the sweet sound that called the young sailors. The voice might be one and the same. I've heard it too many times to ignore it. It's something that I'm supposed to be. Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Oh you very silly person.
1) There was never any earth-wide flood. You can quote any book you like, but the fact remains the story of the flood and the ark is nothing but a fanciful fairy tale.
2) The rainbow flag signifies diversity. It reflects the fact that there are lots of different kinds of people on this earth.
3) Being gay is not a sin. Period. Quit quoting a book that is full of holes and mistruths to support your prejudice.
Now go focus on something else for a while.

The rainbow stands for, "harmony in a world of difference"
Just as there are many different colors to make up a rainbow...our world is made of different people, (some of different colors).
Because your opinion of interpretation of scripture says that homosexuality is a sin, does not mean it is so.
Remember, there is only one ultimate authority on scripture...and it is not you...it is God...so, unless you think you are God...you should not go around passing judgement on others...based on your interpretation of scripture.
Peace.

More recently, the rainbow has been used as a symbol of diversity: originally of different races -- different colors, see? But gradually it has come to mean diversity more generally; different strokes for different folks.
Of course, those of us who use it this way do not consider our lifestyle to be sinful. In fact, the very term "sin" is not part of our vocabulary.

Sin is disobedience to gods; since gods don't exist, neither does sin.
Don't you know the actual explanation for rainbows? Hint: Optics. Do you think rainbows never existed until a few thousand years ago?
How about christianity, with all of the concepts stolen from earlier religions, including the god-son who died for you?

There is no copyright on a rainbow, and it can be used for anything. You would do well to eliminate your negative attitude, and try to better understand the Bible.

Christians distort the message of Jesus every single day, and use his name to justify their hatred and bigotry. Why don't you go clean your own house, instead of worrying about what a fraction of the world's population does in the comfort of their own home?

the rainbow and god's significance is only a biblical belief. Most gays don't follow the bible so the question is moot.
also, what about rainbows in africa and france? they don't have 'jesus' there...
