Hi dear, i hate to admit this but I've just been to a psyc to get help on my depression and to validate if its really depression im experiencing. Unfortunately i am positive of clinical depression and am still under therapy to validate the specific syndrome or if there is any.
You know, there are a lot of reasons why one get depressed and i strongly recommend that you get professional help because this may lead to more than depression (other chronic mental disorders).
Getting an anti-depressant is not that simple unless of course you get a doctor to prescribe it ( that is, if you see a legal doctor and have consultations).
Now, please dont be offended if i discuss this; if you dont have enough means since meds for this matter are quite expensive, you have to get your self together and try to find the happiness in you.
If for some reason you cant see through yourself, you can go to a convent or any religious institution (your faith of your choice or affiliation) and find your peace. That is a good start of therapy rather than taking meds.
May I also suggest to set your mind on filling your heart with love and happiness no matter how simple or tiny that may be. Ignore negative things and pray.
Like, I walk around our neighbor hood everyday to look for people whom i can help on whatever matter i can, no matter how simple or great.
It makes me feel that i am needed in this world and that i am not alone and that i am loved and that god is always beside me.
Struggles in life will never seize to occur until the time we all die. You must see that in one way or another you are still far more luckier than other people.

God does hear you! Evedently what we "think" we need to make us happy and what God knows we need may not be the same. You have started in the right place, nomatter what anyone says - keep praying, keep believing in the Lord and you will find peace. Go deep within yourself and seek out what exactly it is that is the root of your problems. Don't take so much to heart, and remember you are NEVER alone - God is always with you. Read scripture and meditate on it, always pray before you read and ask God to show you what it is he wants you to know. Confide in a friend, or join a church if your not already in a congregation. I will pray for you. Good luck....

I believe that ALL of us go through and/or have gone through these things during various periods of our lives.
Have you been to a doctor to make sure that this isn't something physiological and possibly even seek some counselling?
It sounds like to me that God has already answered and/or is answering your "many prayers".
How?
By doing nothing.
How is it that you have come to believe that it is God's responsibility--and not yours--to overcome these things for yourself?
No, this doesn't mean that you won't receive help "from on high" when and as you need it, but it does mean that you must first do everything in your own power to overcome your situation.
If you believe that one of the reasons we are here on this earth is to "learn lessons", the what would you personally benefit and learn if God did everything for you? Or even if God only did something in THIS circumstance.
I'm curious. You apparently are expecting God to say something "specific" to you? If God were to speak or say something to you--what would it be?
I ask, because if you can answer that, then I suspect that THAT is what God would--or has been saying to you all along!?!?!?
But, you are expecting to "hear a voice" from some god "outside" of yourself, huh? Well, while I understand why it is that you might be waiting for this to happen--odds are if you continue to wait for this, that that is what you will be doing for a long time--waiting. And while you are waiting, I suspect that you will continue to struggle, be depressed, lonely and alone?
Regards,

Hold on. It's the being alone part you must do something about, immediately. Although many of us like to say we're independent thinkers we are truly an interdependent family of human beings who need to socialize and derive positive feedback. It may be hard to do if you're strongly religous, but just for a change--yell at God. Tell God you're sick and tired of having your pleas ignored.Ask God to bless you and prove that he/she really loves you. Be specific. Issue ultimatums. It may be meaningless to issue ultimatums to God, but it will give you focus. You need to verbalize your requirements.

Go walk in the sunshine
Box of Rain
Grateful Dead - Words by Robert Hunter; music by Phil Lesh
Look out of any window
any morning, any evening, any day
Maybe the sun is shining
birds are winging or
rain is falling from a heavy sky -
What do you want me to do,
to do for you to see you through?
this is all a dream we dreamed
one afternoon long ago
Walk out of any doorway
feel your way, feel your way
like the day before
Maybe you'll find direction
around some corner
where it's been waiting to meet you -
What do you want me to do,
to watch for you while you're sleeping?
Well please don't be surprised
when you find me dreaming too
Look into any eyes
you find by you, you can see
clear through to another day
I know it's been seen before
through other eyes on other days
while going home --
What do you want me to do,
to do for you to see you through?
It's all a dream we dreamed
one afternoon long ago
Walk into splintered sunlight
Inch your way through dead dreams
to another land
Maybe you're tired and broken
Your tongue is twisted
with words half spoken
and thoughts unclear
What do you want me to do
to do for you to see you through
A box of rain will ease the pain
and love will see you through
Just a box of rain -
wind and water -
Believe it if you need it,
if you don't just pass it on
Sun and shower -
Wind and rain -
in and out the window
like a moth before a flame
It's just a box of rain
I don't know who put it there
Believe it if you need it
or leave it if you dare
But it's just a box of rain
or a ribbon for your hair
Such a long long time to be gone
and a short time to be there
-----------------
Get up off the keyboard and go do something fun.

'God' sees you. He wants you to be happy and do things you enjoy. Get out and take a walk this evening and watch the sun go down. It is so pretty. Look at the greenness of the nature and the trees. Be glad to be alive. Feel the air on your skin. Then tomorrow is another day...

I think you should do what YOU need to do to be happy (what ever that it). Ask yourself, "What do I need in order to be happy?" and if you don't know the answer than you have to do something to find out. The best way is to see a therapist and start getting some of your thoughts out. Sometimes, it helps to talk to someone and get someone else's thoughts so that they can help you figure some things out. That's what I think.

God sees you and He knows your name. Everyone struggles @ times, you just have to keep doing what you know is right. This, too, shall pass. God loves you.
