Religion is the result of fear. If I had it my way all people would love, respect and care for one another without having to be told to by an imaginary friend.

Religion is personal and private. If I had it my way I'd tell people to keep it that way, and avoid the problems that come with telling someone who isn't going to be nice to you once they know you are different from them.
Still, for the sake of this communication opportunity, I tend to tell more about my own beliefs here than I would if I were meeting you face to face.

Religion is illogical wishful thinking. I I had it my way people would devote their time to worthwhile pursuits rather than praying to a non-existent sky pappy.

Religion is necessary. If I had it my way, everyone would realize that all paths lead to the same destination. Some are shortcuts and others are long and winding roads, yet we will all arrive at the same destination eventually.

Religion is for followers, not leaders.
If I had it my way, people would put the same energy and belief into themselves as they do their religion, and be more fulfilled.
