That science prooved God existed. And don't say you haven't heard of it, because you probably havent. the media doesn't tell you theese things because they incourage ateistic belifs, so why would they tell you this. I learned this from the Christian channel even though I am Jewish, that a bunch of scientests prooved it.

Than we do about those that truly love us.

Maybe not everyone does this. Whenever I let the thought enter my mind that maybe I don't want to be alone any more, I inevitably find disappointment. I feel sadness. Yet I do have a few friends and a son who really love me. Why can't I just be happy with that?

He is 15 and the other night he had his friends over and they messed up the living room and didn't clean. I've told him that he has to clean his mess as the carpet layer is coming tomorrow to do measurements. But he just walked back to watching tv. What can I do? Please any suggestion will be appreciated.

It is worth noting, and well known throughout the religious world, that the choice of the present four "gospels" of the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) were imposed in the Council of Nicea 325 CE for political purposes under the auspices of the pagan Emperor Constantine, and not by Jesus. Constantine’s mind had not been enlightened either by study or by inspiration. He was a pagan, a tyrant and criminal who murdered his son, his wife and thousands of innocent individuals because of his lust for political power. Constantine ratified other decisions in the Nicene Creed such as the decision to call Christ "the Son of God, only begotten of the father."

From the world as a great effect we may argue the possibility of a great cause.
From the apparent order and design in the world we may argue the possibility of a designing intelligence.
From the apparent rule of the world by moral law we may argue the possibility of a moral law giver.
Isn't it possible that God reveals himself to man both in nature and in scripture so that no man can evade constant confrontation by that which reveals the living and true God? I see nothing defective in the revelation of God in nature.
The sum total of the facts revealed in nature, and in scripture prove the existence of God.
So why the great need for God's credentials?
All viewpoints respected and appreciated. I only ask for objectiveness.

Why are radical Christians (along with many other groups pertaining to religion) so quick to push their views on the rest of us?
Aren't they supposed to be free to make their own choices?
Isn't it their own right to burn in hell?

And the bible doesn't count as a referance in my book, so spare me.

I don't want to be one of those Christains who loves God and goes to Church every Sunday because I am afraid of going to hell or because I want to enjoy the blessings of God for my own selfish reasons. I really want to learn to love God and understand God, but I don't know where to start. Other than reading the Bible, what other things can I do to develop a better relationship with God?

Or is this one of those "depends on your church" kind of things. You all are reading the same book aren't you? or are their lots of versions of the ONE WORD OF GOD.

Now I am not asking you to consider that God was behind it, that is a matter of faith, and for you personally to decide.

Consider this, what made the big bang, why did it happen, where did it come from? What was there before it?

If all matter and energy came from that one moment, where did it come from?!

My point is that if you believe in God or not, all astro physicists say that at the moment of the big bang, the laws of physics broke down. Research it if you want! It's in a Brief History of Time by Hawking.

Basically, any answer to the question i put forward would be as mystical as an answer saying that god did it. So believing in God isn't as irrational as you may think, as with the scientific knowledge we have today, you can't give a rational answer to the question.

Often a goats head is used to symbolize the inverted Pentacle. An image of the Lord in Earth base religion, called the devil by those who believe in Satan. But why are they often seen as low life in the animal world? Is it because of this association and the dispise that the " Major religions" have for Earth Worshiping ones?

ie, is the devil associated with Witches AND Jews, Pagans AND Muslims, Wiccans AND Buddhists?

or do you think that the devil is associated with some but not others? Which ones are associated with the devil to YOU AS A CHRISTIAN and WHY?
I asked this but I perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my previous question.

I mean, some people just need to get the wildness out before they can settle down.
Would you rather they be pressured into Christianity while young, later becoming bitter old codgers that they never got to enjoy life's pleasures? Or would you rather they get it out of their systems?

And no, I'm not talking about letting them commit murder or any other atrocity.

O.K. so christians do get defensive and angry and lash back at some of the questions atheists post. I have noticed though, the large percentage of so-called atheists questions that are there to provoke and attack. You know Why did Jesus...dinosaur..zombie.. cannibal etc. ad nauseum.

Are you hurt and angry by what you percieve as being ignored by god, or is this hate filled rhetoric really the best you got?

I've been reading tarot for fun for a while. And I just wanted to know any other arrangements for the tarot reading. I've only been doing something taught to me by a friend, which seems too simple, but it kind of works sometimes. Anyone know good arrangements (And the meaning of each card placement)?

What is your opinion on this?

"This is a message written by Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, far and near, we are behind them. Verily, I defend them by myself, the servants, the helpers, and my followers, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be changed from their jobs, nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they (Christians) are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, this is not to take place without her own wish.
