in 2008 there will b a chip and you have a choice to get it or not and this happened because satin took over gods body and made it happen and so he said if you don't get it you will get your head chopped off and if you do you will live but for all the people who don't get it and die, god will come down on a white horse and get all the people who died and take them to heave.

You know, chaps and dear hearts, across my long and altogether rich life in the professional theatre, I've encountered all kinds of interesting folk. And certainly, as a student in Paris and then in Munich, I picked up a little bit here and there. But, aside from the baby panda in my city's zoo, I can't think I've enjoyed lately anything more than the earnest, fearful, moon-struck Christians who leap to every chance to defend God, as if he (or she) is not capable of defending him- or herself. It is refreshing to see such vigor and dedication to what has surely given some here pause at one time or another--I mean, hey, we're talking about a Bronze Age god of a murdering tribe of desert nomads, and this is the 21st century, the age of space exploration and the Internet and open-heart surgery and coming "cures" of terrifying diseaes and impairments. It demands courage to hold to primitive, antique ideas and notions, and I admire courage in any human being. It's so doggoned rare nowaday.

Darwin didn't dismiss evolution over the complexity of the human eye. On the contrary, he used it as an example of his proof. This is a misquotation by Creationists, who are simply lying to promote their pseudoscience.

Seems odd that they would need to lie about it, doesn't it? Would you like to see what Darwin actually said about the eye, which the Creationists ALWAYS leave out? (They actually omit the rest of the paragraph, taking his comment completely out of context)

I did a test on the internet once about how old I would be, and if I cheated a little, I could live to be 237 years old. Ok, I cheated a lot, but still.

So, I can understand that Noah lived 900 years.

But how does immortal work? Adam was born, and was supposed to live forever. How does such a thing work if, for example, somebody would chop his head off? Or pull his heart out? Or hit by an earthquake, or had walked in Pompeii during the volcano eruption? Or, or, oh well, you get the idea of my question.

Alright... first of all, no one mock this please.
But... I have an ex... who's absolutely beautiful, and she's really smart, but... she doesn't know God and it really shows... Her parents are awful (they physically and verbally abuse her), the guys she dates are awful (some of them physically abuse her too), and she's... not honoring her body at all, she throws herself around like a piece of meat, and of course, guys notice...

So... my request is that you would pray for her salvation, pray for Amanda that she would come to know Jesus and be made new, and love God and love her friends and enemies all the days of her life, and make her life's goal to glorify God in the best way she can.

Obviously they are smarter than Christians since they do not believe in an invisible sky daddy but for some reason they are still holding on to religiously slanted beliefs like being anti-choice, pro-death penalty, and etc.

I suspect that while being smarter than Christians they are still no where near as smart as us liberal atheists. What factors do you think keep them from reaching enlightenment?

In the Book of Job, Satan doesn't do anything to Job or his family until God gives him permission. My question is.... Who is responsible for what happens to Job and his family? I asked this before but got no meaningful responses, so let's try again.

The scientific community has accepted the Theory of Evolution as scientific fact for at least the last 50 years.


If evolution is a lie and we were created as we are now, then this must mean that the scientific community is lying to us, and has been for at least 50 years.

There must be a vast conspiracy amongst scientist to have started and maintain this lie.

Can you please explain how a community of thousands of people have managed to keep this vast conspiracy a secret? How come there have been no confessions from any of these thousands of people. How come thousands more have quietly joined the conspiracy rather than reveal it?

How do all these scientist and technicians keep publishing papers based on a false premise? Millions of papers have been published that are underpinned by evolution. How have this conspiracy been able to produce this vast number of documents without ever slipping up?

For millenia we attributed that which we did not understand to gods. As time went on, and we discovered more and more of the true nature of the world, many, if not most of these gods became obsolete. Yet even today, many still cling to belief in god or gods. Do we so resist abandoning these beliefs because after so many thousands of years, we are now genetically predisposed to needing it? And is it possible that the atheistic realization that we no longer need a god is a long delayed step forward in the evolution of our brains toward a deeper understanding of the true nature of the universe? In other words, is religious adherence to ancient dogma holding back the progress of the human species? I'll take it one step further and ask: If we can shed our dependancy on these ancient beliefs, could we one day evolve into something akin to what we have always worshipped, thus becoming Creators ourselves...in our own image?
