Marijuana is a natural plant and so is acceptable. I have no opinion on it's current status within the law.

It should be legal, and people should have personal responsibility. Besides, the reports that it leads to other drugs is not entirely true. I think those people would have gone on to harder drugs anyway. And did you know that Richard Nixon received a report in the early 70's that said it should be legalized, but he ignored it? Kind of like how Bush ignored the 9/11 report...

I'm a Christian and Jesus never prohibited alcohol or drugs. Christians are supposed to refrain from drunkeness. So, moderate wine or drug use should be ok. The problem is there are many people who know no moderation with some substances. I smoke, though too much, and I don't like it when other Christians think it's bad. They don't know how much I smoke. Smoking is enjoyable. Casual smoking isn't wrong.
Anyway, some "Christians", such as our friends the Mormons, prohibit all alcohol as well as tea and soda and coffee. Are we not supposed to drink wine at the Lord's Supper?? Jesus liked wine; he drank wine with sinners; he turned water into very good wine for a wedding celebration. People need to read the Gospels better, or seek better teachers.
I think drugs should be legal. People should be free to choose for themselves to walk in darkness or become the light of the world without compulsion by force. Tolstoy was right in his book on Christian anarchism.

Spiritually, I believe my body is a gift.
Now that I'm aware of how delicate my gift is, I think it's disrespectful to damage my body by smoking majijuana.
Law - wise; I don't see a problem with others smoking, except when they drive (operate machinery) --- in which case, there's no test like a DUI to convict them if they drive wreckless while high. Which kinda disturbes me.

Well, I try to be logical and you can be logical and a Christian at the same time.
I do believe that marijuana should be available for prescription use.
However, I wouldn't want to encourage people to use it by making it legal for everyone. I spend much of my time counseling drug addicts and many of them started with marijuana. I couldn't in good conscience try and help make it easier to obtain.

Neither paganism nor Taoism has anything to say on the topic. Living with wisdom is recommended... but everything has its place.
I think it should not be illegal, but it should be regulated and used responsibly, just like alchohol.

Mine don't. I don't believe the government when they say it leads to harder drugs. Regulate, tax, and sell it. Set up strict laws and adhere to them.

NH! Didn't you see that 1933 movie "Reefer Madness?" The government told us civilization, as we know it, would end due to the plague of the killer weed. They wouldn't lie to us ....would they? (lmao)
