Which god
there are many different gods worshiped by people on this planet.
No person or god controls what I do because I like all people have free will to make my own decisions and I take responsibility for my actions instead of trying to use a god as a crutch
Nobody knows for sure how the universe started, religious folks say god made it but they cannot prove anything and neither can scientists
Live your life, be good to people and do not worry about things that you have absolutely no control over

God is responsible for all encompassing awareness and mind related consciousness as a derivative sub-set. All Universe is the projection of mind and all activities are the physical outcome of mind generated subtle programmes. God's responsibility ends when man starts meddling with egoistic activities the results of which only man has to bear.

Unfortunately, you have failed to ask a genuine question because your question as it stands makes about as much sense as asking, "Which of the X-Men will run for President in '08?". In other words, a rational question is not dependent upon the actions of a fictional being, such as god.

No one is responsible for the Universe. The Universe is a creation without a creator.

I can't say.
I know I am alive and am aware of myself, but I can't claim to be aware of the workings nor origin of the universe. I don't think anyone else can, either. Anyone who says they can is perhaps a bit too caught up in their faith, in my opinion.
I'd rather not place all my bets on something in a supposed afterlife for example which I can't sense in the here and now.

The universal law of justice requires that individuals be accountable for how they respond to any circumstance. This is sometimes called agency and is protected by God.

God owns it all. Man has dominion over the earth because God gave it to man. Man is responsible for what happens in the earth.

Yes. The universe belongs to Him.
Since God gave man free will, much of what happens here is because of our choices. He intervenes as He is asked. Otherwise, he would violate your free will.
Every breath you take is a gift to you from Him.
