A fertilized embryo doesn't "develop into a person". It IS a person, a unique individual with a unique HUMAN genetic configuration which has never before existed in the history of the world, in the first days of his/her life. His/her life is as valuable as the life of any other individual human being, and he/she has the same inalienable rights as any other person. I didn't "develop from" an embryo. I WAS an embryo, a fetus, a newborn, a toddler, a pre-adolescent, a teenager. Each of these terms describes a particular period of MY life. I was not a "potential human being" in any of these stages. I was then what I am now, a human being, a child of God whose existence He planned from all eternity.

If left alone, those two cells will die. It takes a very large amount of energy and a long series of conditions for an embryo to turn into a person who can live outside the friendly confines of a uterus.

Have a nice, irrational day :)

Various governmental bodies and churchs have been doing just this for milleniums...

According to Christian logic, when you have identical twins one of them must be killed. Because only one actually has a spirit. The other is a clone.
