Revenge is an enormous waste of one's resources while one is alive. It makes a person focus on some perceived slight or injury, rather than allowing the person to enjoy the delights of life.
When one dies, all the electro-chemical activity of the brain ceases and the personality, with all its perceptions and memories ceases to be.
"Living well is the best revenge," as I've heard it said. Pay attention to that which makes your all-too-brief life pleasant to yourself and others.

Sorry streamthree, it says in the bible, "vengence is mine, sayeth the lord". When you die you will be standing in front of God almighty and he will ask you what you did for him in his name while you were on earth. What will you say? It is sobering to think about. Each one is responsible for his/her own actions while alive. We will have to account for everything, good & bad, we have done. Every word we have spoken. We all do good and bad things. The thing w/ God is that we can repent and he will forgive us because he knows we are silly humans that mess up a lot. Thank God for that

In case you know of anyone that will want to do harm to you, any of your loved ones and/or your property, put it in writing with details, names, addresses, etc. Make copies, send those copies to different people in different places and give those people instruction of contacting police in case something weird happens to you, any of your loved ones, and/or your property.
If you need it, using your Last Will and Testament against those who do not deserve anything from you, and, add a clause that specifies that, if you die of non-natural causes, *no one* will get one penny from you until your death is solved.

On whom?
There was a man whose wife told him she would dance on his grave. So he left instructions in his will to have a huge dome built over his grave. That was his revenge.
