If you are going to say that ALL Christians today are to blame for all the war and killings in history in the name of God,

then, if that is true, wouldn't it be like saying ALL white people today are responsible for black opression in the past?

Or, ALL white people are guilty of stealing land from the Indians in the past?

And please don't tell me that ALL the black oppressers and land stealers were Christian.

This study: http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070529/LIFESTYLE03/705290323/1040 sheds a lot of light on what we think about morality.

In testing, when subjects are asked to think about giving to charity and donating money for good causes, a very primitive part of their brain lights up, that is similar to hunger and the sex drive.

In many studies on animals, over and over again, we see that they are compassionate and altruistic. How does this impact our ideas about the nature of morality? Is it divine or does it evolve naturally?

1. Conservatives cannot attack an arguement with facts, and therefore must resort to loose inductive reasoning, mental speculation and abusive expletives.
2. Few people are interested in God's trancendental and perfect nature. Instead they remain occupied with the flowery words of the books and gospels without trying to understand the true meaning.
3. God did not write the bible. Even if he inspired those who wrote it, many books were not included. God could not have influenced the synods of Hippo without infringing on individual free will.
4. The bible is not perfectly true, therefore we must understand God solely in that he is perfect.
5. God is perfect and can take part in no sin.
6. Evil exists to allow maximum free will.
7. Many sins have occured in Iraq (abu gharib as one example)
8. God cannot give authority to sin, as goodness is part of his nature, and his creation flows from his nature.
9. God cannot be any justification for the war in Iraq, which is a sin.

4:157. That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

But, for example, a three legged dog or a dog missing one eye...the other dogs still play and treat these dogs as they would any other dog. Is there a lesson for humanity in this? Can we see past our physical and spiritual differences and help one another?

Let's stick with majorities, too, I'm sure there are a minority of exceptions where this wasn't the case (dogs with rabies or others that were abused or trained to be mean, that's not the norm, though).

Why do people now like calling themselves a god or nickname themselves after characters in the Bible.

I have no problem with people who's names came from the Bible (like Jacob, or David, Rebecca or Ester), But there are people calling themselves the messiah, when the Bible states that when Jesus comes back we will know just like you can see lightning in the east from the west we'll be able to see God when he comes again

I thought that was the opposite of what Jesus wanted. Didn't Jesus hang out with the sinners and the "bad" crowd. Why are these holy rollers so anti everything? Live and let live. Let God be the judge.

Sure, they can grow an ear on a mouses back, clone living things, explain physics, and why crayons come in different colors, but if science is the answer, then why can't we travel to the next galaxy, or time travel, or go to the bottom of the ocean, or predict what will happen in the future? Hmmm?

If any one has visited the Creation Museum that just opened in Kentucky, please give me your honest opinion of the museum. I searched for an hour on Yahoo Answers for somebody who gave an honest opinion of the museum without bashing God or Christianity; and I found none.

I simply want to know about the highlights, design, and appeal of the museum whether you believe in Ken Ham's perceived version of creation according to the Bible or not.

Was the scenery and activities worth the money? (I have been to many Natural Museums the were not worth the money and I do not consider them to be 100% truthful.) Only a fool would believe that they were giving us all the proper and correct information and up-to-date artifacts in the Smithsonian.
History = HIS - Story

Thank you

In Issiah 9:11 It says that the Messiah will be called Mighty God, meaning that he will be God. It doesn't make sense to refer to Jesus as the Christ when they don't believe he is God.

Allah says we were made to believe Christ was crucified... Did Allah make us believe this? I asked the question If Allah decieved us and it was deleted. Why can't I agree with the Qu'ran without Muslims deleting my question? Allah says they were made to believe this and it was not true therefore I assume Allah made people believe a lie...Is it wrong to quote Allah on this? What happened to the people from the time of Chrsit to the time of Muhammad 600 years who were made to believe a lie? Is it there fault if Allah made them believe Chruist was crucified? Couldnt he have sent someone wiht the truth a little sooner so that people didnt die believing a lie they were made to believe?
