If any one has visited the Creation Museum that just opened in Kentucky, please give me your honest opinion of the museum. I searched for an hour on Yahoo Answers for somebody who gave an honest opinion of the museum without bashing God or Christianity; and I found none.

I simply want to know about the highlights, design, and appeal of the museum whether you believe in Ken Ham's perceived version of creation according to the Bible or not.

Was the scenery and activities worth the money? (I have been to many Natural Museums the were not worth the money and I do not consider them to be 100% truthful.) Only a fool would believe that they were giving us all the proper and correct information and up-to-date artifacts in the Smithsonian.
History = HIS - Story

Thank you

There was a series of pictures of the exhibits on someone's blog yesterday, so you can form your own opinion. I'll go find them.

No I have not visited there yet.

I live way too far away.

However, I just might drive there and visit in the fall, perhaps in September.

I'd also like to visit the Creation Museum in Pensacola sometime.

I'm from Chicago and I've been to the Field Museum of Natural History more times than I can count.

The Creation Museum is a monstrous waste of time and money. There is no scientific controversy, except in the deluded minds of millions of ignorant believers. Creationism makes me weep for the untold lost human potential it engenders and for the countless wasted lives it creates. I will NOT be going there. Sounds like a good reason to avoid Kentucky altogether.

I am not familiar with the place...so can not give you a specific opinion. Keep in mind however, that just like in the theory of evolution, people interpret data differently and can interpret it according to their own slant. Depend on God and God alone for your information about Him. It really doesn't matter whether the earth was created in six days...or in a nano second or billions of years. If you have a personal relationship with God you will have what is important. Him. The rest is just another human beings view of what is...

What's the point?

Do you want to go to a not-so-good Holocaust museum or an excellent Nazi pride museum?

Creationism is fantasy.

people like you will only believe what you think is agreeing with your cult book, bible.

i think you'll find that the creation museum is full of biblical myth and nonsense, so much, that you'll agree with it and reinforce all the cult nonsense that can make you happy.

just believing the noah's ark story shows a lack of intelligence, but thinking that dinosaurs were there with people almost indicates that someone has had a lobotomy.
