That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

Thanks Dolly finally an honest answer...Allah transformed someone to look like Christ to trick people..So Allah deceived them... I was deleted for agreeing with the Qu'ran.
Now my questionw as this a good thing for Allah to do? 600 years many were born and died believing in the atonement promised from God's word..Moses Isaiah and even Christ himself...So why did Allah decive all these people...who died blieving a lie he made them believe..600 years before the Qu'ran?

Moses told us of the tree of life, Abraham told us God would provide a lamb...Isaiah told us God would provide a lamb the Messiah who would atone for sin...Jesus said he would fufille these prophsies...The true God did not lie Christ did atone for sin Allah admits he deceived you.

Jews made sure that Jesus be killed at the cross but I doubt they would boast in killing the Messiah they were waiting for so many centuries.
But the Quran itself tells us Allah made someone else ( an innocent person) die in place of Jesus. He was deceiving believers for, as you said djmantx, for 600 years.
and this is made clear in the Quran.

Allah is a deceiver: The Hypocrites - they seek to deceive Allah but it is Allah who deceives them. When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold Allah in remembrance (Surat Al-Nisa 4:142).

Allah is the best plotter: And when those who disbelieve plot against thee [O Mohammed] to wound thee fatally, or to kill thee or to drive thee forth; they plot, but Allah [also] plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters (Surat Al-Anfal 8:30 MPT)

Allah the Muslim God is all these things. The true God is just and merciful, not a deceiver, the best plotter and the best torturer who enjoys punishing humans.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob on the other hand has this to say:

Isaiah 61:7-9 "For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them.

Islam is a religion of half baked truths and lies, the half baked truths come from the twisted Biblical stories and heretic Christian stories prevalent in Muhammad prophets time, twisted and turned to suit Muhammad's desires and whims.

If you accept how inaccurate the gospels are having been written at least 150 years after the the life time of Jesus, then how more inaccurate would be the Korans version of events 500 years later. Islam was based upon the possible myths of Jesus, and so needs the existence of Jesus to back up their own religious claims. If Jesus did exist and this is undecided, then there exists no written records of his Crucifixion or his ministry. But like many religious people including the Muslim, they fall in love with the messenger and not with the message, which can only be love and never hate. For me Jesus symbolises the potiential in every humanbeing as does the Buddha, and therefore it doesn't matter whether Jesus really existed, because the teachings of compassion attributed to him contain much wisdom and common sense. I doubt also if he did exist that he would have agreed with the teachings of Mohammed a man of the sword and war. I have read the Gospels of Judas and Thomas, in the Gospels of Thomas, Jesus seems to give a view point which links to the equality between the sexes, a spiritual ideal that never survived in Islam. So for me the link only exists in the minds of Muslims and not in any real historical event.

First I want you to understand that the Allah of Muslims is the one who created Adam, Noah, Solomon, Mosses, Jesus, Merry, Mohamed, Abraham, Job, Jacob, Lot peace be upon them all.

Besides the Allah we believe is the one who created the Angles, the sky above you, the massive earth, the oceans, the air we breath, the soul in our body every think we know and much more we do not know. So it is ignorance if you differentiate the God of Jesus PBUH and Allah of Mohamed PBUH both are the same. What you can do is that you can refuse to become Muslim and stay with your edited christian religion.

Besides Allah does not lie. If in the Quran Allah says "was made to appear them" it does not literally mean that Allah has lied. Look who were those who wanted to kill Jesus peace be upon him? weren't they bad people? Allah wanted to save his servant Jesus from the hands of those Jews unbelievers. Allah has the power to make them think that they killed Jesus PBUH when they did not kill actually.

Jesus the Messiah (PBUH) was an "unofficial" Jewish Rabbi who was teaching, through his delivery of the Evangelicals, God's Law the Torah. He was sent to get Judaism (Islam as practiced by the tribes of Judah) back on track and to counteract the overwhelming influence of the Pagans (Rome).

So who told the lie about the crucifixion? Ummm...I'm guessing the Romans and the Israelite government they were controlling. GOD DOES NOT LIE...PERIOD! Jesus (PBUH) was the purest of the Prophets sent to remind the world of God's Laws and the fact that "ignorance of the law" is not an excuse to turn your back on God.

Since he was raised to heaven without being put on the cross and Allah (God) transformed another person to appear exactly like Jesus to deceive and he was crucified instead of Jesus......thats why people believed that they had killed him cuz they had not seen him anywhere.....

Im not muslim im christian and i know Jesus was crucified. and i believe what the bible tells me and i believe what the church tells me. Jesus went throuh torture and even more torture when he was nailed on the cross. and how can you question Jesus crucifixation? Jesus is a man of excellent passion and he showed his passion for others when he died for us. and dude maybe you should watch passion of the christ to see what kind of pain Jesus went through but i must say its rated m for mature and its emotional but a excellent excellent movie.
