This is a true story, I have some questions for you about it. I have a work colleague, a lovely lady aged 43. 13 years ago she married a man who after 3 years turned very violent. Aged 33 she managed to escape and divorce him. However, her parents turned on her - the mother said to her 'violence is part of marriage and a woman has to put up with it' and that 'men are made in the image of God and women are just a rib of Adam so men can beat them up if they want' - her father said that 'divorced people will burn in hell for betraying Jesus's will' and that 'they didn't want to associate with someone who will burn in hell in case they also go to hell for associating with that person'. So her parents haven't spoken to her for nearly 10 years. She wasn't brought up in any religion (strangely enough there wasn't even a bible in the house) - parents were brought up as Irish Catholics. My question - are they right, or are they nutters?

Are we less than Angels or are Angels less than people? How about a reference to your position?

talking about how he was sorry and I can't remember exactly what he said about it but it was like he was talking about all the soldiers who had been put in the ground there in the past few years but when he's the one that put them there. It upset me...anyone else?

I believe God is loving, caring, & compassionate as well as (for lack of a better word) vengeful when necessary.

That being said, if someone were to take their own life, do you think that God would not consider the circumstances that lead to it, instead of the act itself? I'm asking for your interpretation or your gut instinct. I think there's a difference btwn someone who kills themselves b/c they're in debt or going to jail, etc., & someone who suffers from depression & feels unworthy to live.

Life isn't perfect, I know. And it really shouldn't be. Only Heaven is. Experiencing struggles & pain is a part of life. But I'm just curious what you as a Christian feel in your heart would happen to a depressed person who commits suicide.

Thanks for any replies.

I believe in ghosts. In fact I have seen ghosts. Strange things happen to me like I dream things and what people tell me is true in my dreams.I hear people call me and I hear my name in the wind. I sometimes feel the presence of a ghost. Who believes in ghosts and why?

Agaisnt the growing malicious drivel that is a driving force to eliminate religion from our American Way of life.

I can see by what so many of the Anti-GOD people write on my questions which is a *Anything gives mentality* religion does not work, yet they put on blinders with what is really happening with secular Europe.

Nothing is Taboo to them they want a Jerry Springer world where morality is dictated by choice and sooner or later we as a country will be so weakened, we will not be able to protect the USA from so many counties that would like to see our Government fail

Your thoughts?

Rosie O'Donnell is a blessing. She is such a perfect encapsulation of everything that is wrong and stupid about far left liberals. Recently she actually claimed - on air - that there were 650,000 dead Iraqis, all of them were killed by the US, and that US troops are the 'real terrorists' in Iraq.

We all know the fallacy of Rosie's position. We all know simply by reading headlines from independent news agencies that more than 95% of the people killed in Iraq die from insurgent and terrorist action, not the action of any coalition military. In fact our military is so good at avoiding civilian casualties that our big scandals involve detainment, not killing - and they are scandals precisely because they are deviations from the norm.

So why is Rosie allowed to continue to operate on air spreading such garbage?

She is sooo lucky she in the USA because in other country she be in prision!

Do you think she luck to be here

Maybe it isn't just a case of believers and non believers, but case of very similar souls learning their lessons here on earth and the 2nd coming means that you awaken spiritually? Not awaken as in believing or having faith, but actually awakening spiritually so that you know the truth and don't just believe in someone else's truth or someone else's story of what the truth is?

They even exchange colorful baskets of eggs and candy with bunny figures and fake grass. The women dress up in their Sabbath best (lol) with silly hats and pastels colors.

I've never seen such a complete case of denial before.

Esther is Ashtarte/Ishtar/Eostre and their whole Purim story in the Book of Esther is just a subtle but intentional mistranslation of the story of Ishtar, Marduk, and Umin.

The whole thing seems so obvious and silly.

I go to an assembly of God church. Recently I've been questioning some of my pastor's teaching. He teaches that we were already healed at the cross. He will not hold prayer services and will not pray for sick people. If someone sick from the congregation asks for prayer, he annnoints them with oil, and says, "Be healed in Jesus name." Then they are supposed to say back, "I accept my healing in Jesus name." (My pastor won't even see a doctor because he says he is already healed by Jesus).
I've been born again for 5 years, and I am just confused by this. I used to go to a Methodist church, and we were taught that prayer releases God's power to heal us. My old pastor held Wednesday night prayer services where we would lay hands on each other and pray for their healing. I've also read books by Dutch Sheets with similar beliefs about prayer releasing the power of God.
What do you think? Are we already healed so we don't need prayer or are we supposed to pray for each other to be healed?

Billy Graham is a fake Christian. He was funded by William Randolph Hearst and is supported by the Catholic Church. Undoubtedly, he is pushing for ecumenicalism, which will be the New Age religion of falsehoods, deceit and damnation.

Seriosuly thohh, all of you will be like "ohhh shiiit, as if it were true all along" and I, personally, can't wait to see the looks on your faces and you're all gonna really wish you had at least some faith to begin with.

Butt yaa, i'ma sayy he's gonna make an appearance within 20 years or even less if you pay close attention to some of the changes in the world.... and I only guess that cause it'll be 2000 years after his death and the planet has officially gone to shiit now... also take into mind that if Christ doens't come Global warming will kill most of us anyways.

OK I haven't seen anything ghostly but last night I sure felt something ghostly or rather something spiritual. Last night I was lying in my bed just thinking about life and death. Then all of a sudden I felt a very strong chill run through my body and my body went numb. I couldn't move it was like I was there but I wasn't in my body. It was as if another soul entered my body as my soul left and watched. I was a little scared but I wasn't really that concerned. I would like to know what does this mean????
