Jesus (pbuh) is a prophet and messenger in Islam, but Christians think he is G--, or son of God.
(I didn't wanna say the complete sentence coz I don't wanna blaspheme, there is only ONE God, and it's not Jesus pbuh):
Both Jesus and Muhammad (Peace and blessings upon them) were such prophets who were given holy books by Allah. The Quran says about Jesus :
"He said : I am indeed a servant of Allah. He has given me the book and made me the prophet." (19:30)
(Jesus the Messiah)(PBUH) said:"And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him Alone. That is the Straight Path"
Also, we believe Jesus (pbuh) wasn't crucified or killed, he is alive coz God raised him alive to Heaven to save him and he will return one day to kill the antichrist. The person on the cross was someone made to look like Jesus (pbuh), it wasnt; actually him:
Prophet ^Isa (Jesus) was in session with twelve of his elite companions in a house. He told them that among them would be who would blaspheme in the future. Then he asked them, "Who among you would want to be made to look like me, be killed in my place, and be my companion in Paradise." The youngest among them stood up and said, "Me." Prophet ^Isa told him to sit, then repeated his same question. Again, the same young man said, "Me." Again, Prophet ^Isa told him to sit, then again asked the same question. After the same young man volunteered for the third time, Prophet ^Isa received the Revelation that this young man would be the one who would be made to look like him and killed instead of him. Prophet ^Isa was raised to the sky from an opening in the ceiling of the house. When the Jews came after Prophet ^Isa, they saw that young man, whom Allah made to look like ^Isa. They took him, thinking he was Prophet ^Isa, and crucified him.
Allah will send the Messiah, son of Maryam, and he will descend to the white minaret in the East of Damascus, wearing two garments dyed with saffron, placing his hands on the wings of two angels. When he lowers his head, beads of perspiration will fall from it, and when he raises his head, beads like pearls will scatter from it.
He will kill the Dajjal, an ugly, evil blasphemer who claims himself as God, and who misleads many people to blaspheme. Prophet ^Isa will perform Hajj and travel to visit the grave of the Prophet to salute him, and to greet him by saying, "As-salamu ^alaykum ya rasul Allah", as narrated by Abu Dawud at-Tayalisiyy and others.
SORRY FOR THE LONG ANSWER BUT I WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE DETAILS!!

Islam and Christianity believe in the birth of Jesus, that there was a person by the name of Jesus Christ who was born by a virgin named Mary. But Islam and Christianity differ regarding the divinity of Jesus. To Islam, He is just plain human being and one of the prophets of Allah. But to most Christian religions, He is God.
Islam does not believe that Jesus was ever crucified. Christianity believes that Jesus was crucified. How many witnesses does Islam need to believe that something is true? How many males? How many females, if their testimony is acknowledged?
To Muslims: if I can prove to you that Jesus was crucified, will you believe in Jesus?
We are on the same playing field. Jesus existed some 2000 years ago. Muhammad existed 1400 years ago. So both of us had even not met the people we believe in. Who do you think between the two is more believable and credible?

I am sure that you will get a better answer but off of the top of my head Islam thinks of Jesus as a wise man and a great prophet, Christianity thinks the same except he is also God as a man and is the Savior that died for mans sins

In Islam, Jesus Christ is a major prophet and a respected figure, who is not considered to have died on the cross.
In Christianity, Jesus Christ is a transcender of God, and is considered to had lead a virtuous life, performed miracles and died on the cross for the sins of humanity.

you have have been given issues incorrect. The Anti-Christ has not come yet. he would be an somewhat evil guy who could have powers so as that human beings will think of that he's God. From what i've got heard, it is an somewhat huge try for mankind, with the aid of fact he would be very convincing. whether, for sure, he isn't God, and people who will persist with him would be losers (in the hereafter). he's a sturdy guy with one eye (i think of one among his eyes is broken or something). Allah did not enable his super prophet Jesus (pbuh) to die on the bypass. He extra him as much as Him. Jesus will come returned to boot, God-prepared. he will combat and kill the anti-christ (dajjal in Arabic), and of course would be between the Muslims. he will pray with us, and wreck crosses. there is so plenty greater to it, i'm basically not overly knowledgeable in that, however the flaws i've got pronounced i'm particular approximately. desire this clarifies issues somewhat.

If the muslims would thoroughly read the quran or anybody else who wishes to understand Islam and Christianity, they would know what Mohammad said. Mohammed warns the people of Injil (Bible) and the people of the book (Torat) to not keep secret what they have heard from God. Mohammed went to great lengths to understand both the Injil and Torat.

I am indeed a servant of Allah ( God) He hath given me relevation and made me a prophet, and He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be and he has enjoined on my prayer and poor-rate as long as I live, He made my kind to my mother and not overbearing or misrable, So peace on me the day I was born and the day I die and on the day I am raised to life, Such was Jesus, the son of Mary. It is a statement of truth about which they vainly dispute

1)Christians believe that he is the son of God but us Muslims believe that he is a prophet like all the other prophets.
2)We believe that he will come back , but Christians don't.
3)We believe that he is still alive but up in the sky but Christians believe he is dead.

Muslims say that God cannot have sons or daughters and do not accept the idea that Jesus is the son of God, but that he is the son of Mary.
