I'm not convinced it's possible to truly show compassion with humility left aside.

I believe that many religious people like to think that their denominations do, but in reality almost all money given in churches is used to pay mortgages, keep lights on and fill the donut tray.
There are many good charities out there that are not tied to religion that actually provide tangible help to the needy. I try to find those, and do thing that it is very important to give time and money to real organizations that are focused on helping people.
I personally give to MS associations, and veteran services, I have kids and want them to learn first hand about providing tangible help to people in need. It is vitally important for society and human existence, the religious implications and assumptions are dishonest in most cases.

True compassion comes from genuine love. Genuine love is the result of the realization that 'other' is Self. True compassion is an expression of self love, which is self-less in the absence of otherness.

I am a crusader, it is one of my themes I am sure of it. I can show passion in my atttempts to offer compassion and support to strangers in my everyday life. I do what I can to speak for mankind, not nearly enough I know.
It is much more difficult for me in dealings with the people I know. I hope that makes sense.

I want to be treated with compassion and love, so I try to
set an example that in able to get these qualities from
others we have to give these qualities to others.
