I genuinely don't understand how anyone can be so dramatically out of touch with reality as to believe this. Do they think that their god totally re-designed a few million species to be carnivores just to spite Adam? Or, do they think that all the animals which are clearly equipped only to eat other animals (teeth, digestion etc.) somehow by magic were able to eat plants before 'the fall'?

It's quite perplexing...

It seems to be a common theme in religion that a god will promise something wonderful if you worship and follow him just right, and something awful if you don't... but if the rewards were that wonderful, why would he need the threats as well? Doesn't it just seem more like part of the man-made marketing strategy for the business of religion?

I saw an answer saying that other religions believe theirs is the only way.. that we non-christians don't say things like "oh those christians are sure going to get a great reward in the afterlife".. is that true for your belief or do you believe all paths are valid?

Why would god create men with nipples? Why do we have a tail bone? Why do we have an appendix? If his creation is perfect why is there a blind spot in the human eye? And why does the survival of most animals depend on killing and eating other animals? Does this sound like a "perfect" creation to you?

someone suggested in an answer to another post, that Christians should not read material from other religions ....
that religions such as Paganism , Wicca , Spiritualism etc can lead you astray

can I ask you guys if you have learned from others in these type of religions , have you been lead astray , have we tempted you in any way
or is it just possible to learn about people and about spirituality , and still remain strong and faithful in your own religion ?
I am just trying to understand how someone can live their life without learning from others, without reading about other cultures and other religions .... this doesn't make sense for me

I am a christian. But my girlfriend and I were always caught up in romantic situation. I always refuse to make love with her. Before I truly commited to the church, I did it several times with my xgfs, about 20 times (more or less) wih 3 different girls, but now I realize how bad the sin is, and I've been in sexual abstainance for about 2 years. After finishing my graduate study (MS degree) I'm planning to get married to get rid that sins.

I several times touch and grab my gf's breast (sorry) and kiss them (her t1t5). I know this is wrong, but have I done adultery? Is kissing a sin too.

I did something wrong to my mom and ex girl friend.

I made them cry.It was long ago.

I still sometimes feel pain , and hate myself

I wish they really forgave me and forgot.

But I guess that they didnt or couldnt That why I FEEL HEARTACHE ,still .

I read in Matthew 7 verses 13 & 14 that there are two ways to go and one way is broad where many go that leads to destruction. The other way is narrow & leads to life but it says only a few will find that way.

How can I know if I'm on the right way or not?

What if I think I'm on the right way but really I'm on the broad way leading into destruction?
I mean, it says there are only a few finding the right way

Someone said the mark could be a computer chip. WTF is wrong with you people?? The bible said it would be burned onto your skin. You will have a mark on your head and arm. Do you get to just keep making up the rules as you go??? This is the perfect reason why i can't believe in your foolish religion or any for that matter. The freakin rules keep changing to satisfy the times. Bedtime stories, that's what the Bible is. You don't get to change the rules.
