Yes. Our bodies are like earth suits. They are designed to sustain our souls on this planet. Once the earth suit wears out, our soul moves to another resting place.

As a Christian, I suppose the soul knows the physically world through the body, but the spiritual world through the heart. The mind meditates, reasons, and merges both together.

The soul doesn't need to know anything. It just is. The soul doesn't need to feel and see and know. It just is. It's only the ego which thinks that it is the body. The spirit is nothing but infinite and oblivious of this creation. It's true nature is bliss. And it just remains so. It is only the ego which sees, knows and acts, not the soul.

The soul IS the body.
Millions would disagree, however numbers don't make it right.
