Missing You

No other person could take your place
I think of you every day

The ultimate glory of seeing God's face
The day He took you away

He saw you working hard
But your heart was growng old

Now you have found your reward
Walking the streets of gold

I know again we shall meet
I can hardly wait

In Zion so sweet
At Heavens Pearly Gate

No. It's just more religious propaganda.

Religious superstition has already done too much harm to society.

Good job! Nothing that comes from a heart of love and compassion will ever be bad.

There are those who came in here with their sorry mocking because they hate God, but don't listen to them because they are blind to truth and express themselves without respect for your departed loved one. THEY ARE TO BE PITIED!

I am currently preparing to publish a book of poetry and other writings, and they are gifts from God to those who read and understand them. As long as your motivation is to bring honor and glory to God it will meet with His approval, and so the approval or disapproval of men by comparison is vastly less important than what God thinks.

Keep writing - God will use it to bless and encourage others.

Technically -- it's not so good.

Good try though. I certainly wouldn't give up. Poetry isn't an easy thing to master and once you learn a little more about it, you are going to find out just how freakishly complicated it is.

NO, (because there is NO zion or pearly gate)
because You are obviously influenced by religion...
sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but...
(actually, it's GREAT news, because if you DO create Your Relationship... then You will save Your Soul)

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions = paganism = wicca;

Here's the Solution for religion:

Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs.

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

I have won national and international awards for poetry.

It is beautiful, subtle, and filled with love. Eventually, you'll become an authentic writer.

A beautiful sentiment. I feel the same way about my dear ones who have departed. It is wonderful that you have expressed God's grace in poetry. Keep up the good work.

It was beautiful until you crapped it up with religious garbage .
The poem is about a love departed,not about religion.
You need to tell of your love for the departed not their imaginary journey.
