Why would god create men with nipples? Why do we have a tail bone? Why do we have an appendix? If his creation is perfect why is there a blind spot in the human eye? And why does the survival of most animals depend on killing and eating other animals? Does this sound like a "perfect" creation to you?

If anyone says "It's part of gods plan" or "God works in mysterious ways" I shall scream and scream.

Perhaps the nipples are for sexual stimulation. Perhaps God wanted to keep the differences between man and women to a minimum. Perhaps He thought we looked silly without nipples. The truth is we don’t possess all the knowledge of the Creator’s mind. I trust that God has all good reasons for these things which I will learn when I die. Your question sounds good, but it does not prove anything, but that we have more to learn.

There is a simple answer to every one of those questions, but you need to ask them separately (no one wants to write a 20 page answer). I will give you answers for the first three:

What about nipples on males? First of all, nipples are especially sensitive and are a source of sexual stimuli, even for many men.

And second, nipples are the result of an efficient plan of embryonic development. Human embryos contain characteristics of both sexes at first, because they all have basically the same genetic information. It is design economy. For example, in all human embryos, at first both the mullerian duct system (female) and the wolffian duct system (male) develop, because both sexes have the genetic information for these structures. Incidentally, this refutes the urban myth that human embryos "start out female."

Here is an answer from Dr. Gary Parker on the tail bone:
"If you think the “tail bone” is useless, fall down the stairs and land on it. What happens? You can’t stand up; you can’t sit down; you can’t lie down; you can’t roll over. You can hardly move without pain. In one sense, the sacrum and coccyx are among the most important bones in the whole body. They form an important point of muscle attachment required for our distinctive upright posture (and also for defecation, but I’ll say no more about that)."

And here is an answer on the appendix from Dr. Carl Weiland:
"Today, the appendix is recognized as a highly specialized organ with a rich blood supply. This is not what we would expect from a degenerate, useless structure.

The appendix contains a high concentration of lymphoid follicles. These are highly specialized structures which are a part of the immune system. The clue to the appendix’s function is found in its strategic position right where the small bowel meets the large bowel or colon. The colon is loaded with bacteria which are useful there, but which must be kept away from other areas such as the small bowel and the bloodstream.

Through the cells in these lymphoid follicles, and the antibodies they make, the appendix is ‘involved in the control of which essential bacteria come to reside in the caecum and colon in neonatal life’. Like the very important thymus gland in our chest, it is likely that the appendix plays its major role in early childhood. It is also probably involved in helping the body recognize early in life that certain foodstuffs, bacterially derived substances, and even some of the body’s own gut enzymes, need to be tolerated and not seen as ‘foreign’ substances needing attack."

Oh, and by the way, the creation has been cursed (read Genesis 3).

first we are made in the image of God , so God must also have nipples. for the tail bone.

Human embryos have a tail that measures about one-sixth of the size of the embryo itself. As the embryo develops into a fetus, the tail is absorbed by the growing body. The developmental tail is thus a human vestigial structure (an atavism). Infrequently, a child is born with a "soft tail", which contains no vertebrae, but only blood vessels, muscles, and nerves, although there have been a very few documented cases of tails containing cartilage or up to five vertebrae. Modern procedures allow doctors to eliminate the tail at delivery. The longest human tail on record belonged to a twelve-year-old boy living in what was then French Indochina, which measured nine inches (229 mm).[1] A sound case is that of a man named Chandre Oram who was born in India and has been famous because of his 13-inch tail. Nonetheless, it is believed it is not a true tail but a case of spina bifida.

Humans have a tail bone (the coccyx) attached to the pelvis, in the same place which other mammals have tails. The tail bone is formed of fused vertebrae, usually four, at the bottom of the vertebral column. It doesn't protrude externally, but retains an anatomical purpose: providing an attachment for muscles like the gluteus maximus.

Medical literature shows that the appendix is not generally credited with significant function. The appendix is rich in infection-fighting lymphoid cells, suggesting that it might play a role in the immune system.[2] Whether the appendix has a function, it is routinely removed without any ill effects or side effects.

The human eye has a blind spot in its field of vision. This lies on the point of the retina where the optic nerve leads back into the brain. The retina has no light-sensitive rods or cones at this point, and so a small object in the field of vision's blind spot becomes invisible.

The diagram shows how the optic nerves for left and right eyes are arranged symmetrically, so that the blind spot of the right eye lies somewhere right of the centre of vision, and the blind spot of the left eye lies somewhere off to the left of centre. Since the right eye can see whatever lies in the left eye's blind spot, and vice versa, the two eyes together provide complete vision.

You might think it's easy to find these blind spots: just close one eye and look for a grey fuzzy area. But there isn't any grey fuzzy area. Strange.

In order to find the blind spot of the right eye, it is necessary to close the left eye, focus the right eye on a single point, and see if anything vanishes from vision some 20 degrees right of this point. The following diagram has a set of characters on the left hand side, and black circle on the right. Keeping your head motionless, with the right eye about 3 or 4 times as far from the page as the length of the red line, look at each character in turn, until the black circle vanishes.

so the tail bone attachs muscles, the appendix has infection fighting cells and the blind spot helps us to see better. how well designed are we.

Men have nipples because Adam and Eve Sinned. To punish man God gave men nipples.

So many questions, so much doubt. I'll answer two. The appendix is a useful organ that was only recently discovered to be so by doctors which means you should keep up-to-date if you are to curse God. Also, the survival of most animals depend on killing and eating other animals is because of fallen man. It was not like that in the beginning and will not be like that when Christ comes. Sounds like a perfect creation to me.

Scream all you like, but I do believe in Creation, but not as some. I simply believe that God created the universe and set everything in motion for evolution. All part of "God's plan."

P.S. "God works in mysterious ways"

I don't know why God made men with nipples, why we have a tail bone, etc.. But I do know this. All animals were plant eaters until the fall of mankind. Even Adam and Eve were vegetarians. When Adam and Eve sinned and the fall of mankind happend, animals and humans both were affected and became meat eaters.

And behold for so said the lord to there be nipples to be pierced, and nipples were, and god got a piercing and saw that was good, or something or another.

And behold, (again) for so said the lord to there be appendices to kill people randomly and without warning, and appendices were, and god killed people without warning with their appendixcs and saw that was good, or something or another(again).
