I read the bible last night for the first time in about a decade. I randomly opened it to Psalm 19 and it spoke to me on a deep level. I know this sounds corny but I actually felt the words were directed toward me. The verse discusses how we can hear God's word which is contained within nature. It just seemed to touch upon my current state of life. Kimmie could you read this verse and give me your opinion on it, it is brief. You might have started me onto something for I cannot deny evidence when it slaps me in the face.

Perhaps it was a dream or my Spirit Guide is telling me something since she does come to me often.

There was this village that we all lived in, something happen and the village or city took sides like a clvil war, we went into battle, it was a all day battle, I killed so many of them, I was tired and went to sleep on the ground in the middle of battle. When I woke up almost every one was dead, and my spirit guide was standing over me, protecting me from harm.

Is she telling me something in the dream if it is a dream, or is it a past memory, since I was part awake while having it, or did I see whats to come of this world in the future.
I am open minded are you???????

The thing is most terrorists are Muslims, that’s a fact whether u accept it or not, yet just for saying that most of’em will go nuts, if u care so much bout the image of this religion, y do u let terrorists gather arms and train. I mean Al-Qaeda r Muslims and it originated in Islamic countries, many r adopting its ideology nowadays even though they (Al-Qaeda) kill other Muslims. But no Muslim announces Jihad against’em they just wait for a Christian or Jew to speak then they r all ready to kill him in order to defend their religion, y not kill the infidels within before u try to convert the rest of the world????

Please spare me the “u r a racist speech” I did not offend God, Koran or Muhammad.

including Gospels and letters supposedly written by Jesus, Mary and every other character that appears in the final version of the New Testament, how can Christians claim that the origins of other religious documents (the Mormons, for instance) are fraudulent or questionable?

Of all of the world's religions, only Christianity seems to have been plagued by huge amounts of fraud right from it's inception.

Early Christianity is the mother load of religious fraud, with hundreds of Gospels and letters ultimately being rejected by the strain of Christianity that finally gained supremacy.

Until the 19th century, even the official books were kept in the hands of the Church, to prevent anyone from looking too closely at them, and since that changed in the last few centuries, half of the letters of Paul have been called into question by scholars and only seven are unanimously considered legitimate.

How can Christians defend the legitimacy of the official books, knowing where they came from?

I don't want to argue about whether abortion is right or wrong, b/c I've got bigger fish to fry:

If the woman wants an Abotion, she'll find a way to get one, none the less, so, why not use the unborn fetus for good? No matter what, there will always be a place for the woman to get an abortion, so why shouldn't we use it? It has nothing to do with whether or not abortion is right or wrong, it's about the fetus. Why should we let it go to waste? That woman is gonna do what she wants, so, the unborn fetus will be gone, no matter what; shouldn't we STOP arguing and USE what we can to advance medical technology? To SAVE lives? Don't you think it's selfish to just let it go to waste? Instead of save ANOTHER unborn baby who would have diabetes? Or would be sick and in need or a transplant? There are numberous reasons, it seems that you've lost your way. --In your fight to prevent "babies" from dying, you are letting millions or other sick people die!

Please answer! ♥ Have an nice day!!

god has no right to punish someone for his past deeds... We change in every second... So he can punish only the last person we turn out to be at the moment of our death.... Certainly.....I am sure about it.. HA HA HA HA

I have not lived a good life and have recently thinking about all of the bad things I've done. I am very depressed as I feel I have not done the "good things" in life. I am not a criminal or anything like that but I have sinned many times and I'm just feeling as if there is no hope for me.

It seems to me a bit like when hoons in passing cars yell abuse at pedestrians. They are detached and know there can be no real comback or consequences, so they hurl abuse that they would very unlikely do face to face.

In here, I'll often say people's attitudes are stupid and foolish, which I would happily do talking to them face to face, albeit in a polite & reasonably diplomatic fashion.

However, there are many here who post extremely abusive comments geared to toward provacation. Comments that people would only use face to face if they were seriously spoiling for a physical confrontation.

There is a massive difference between calling someone's attitude stupid and directing the comment at the person in general, or telling them they'll burn in hell for eternity.

Do these people who get so abusive realise how cowardly their action is?

If I end up forgiving Mum(which would be a miracle) and not speek to her again, would God condem me? Because my mother plays games, and her and I do not see eye to eye on anything. I am sick and tired of all the fights with her. I have made it clear she is not to come around to my place again. I think she gets the hint, for now. If she comes around here again, and fights break out I will end up getting a restraining order on her. I know this should not happen but chrisians it does. I would rather not speak to my mother agian thn fight with her, as not fighting with her will make God happy. Are you dudes in the same short of situation? I can forgive her right?, but do not have to see her again. What situation are you in right now?
