ANSWERING (not asking) a question insulting Catholics...

I do not insult the Catholics, i just answered some random guy, asking what insecticide to feed Catholics? I mean, what the??? Then I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT THE VIOLATION? Is that ever fair???

I do believe in respect of all people regardless of race or religion. If YAHOO gave me a violation for answering an insulting question, why does YAHOO not violate or delete questions that are insulting or stupid? duh...

Lets stop answering people with stupid questions. But rather find those who are really asking something that we may know something about.

As long as we keep feeding the ones wanting to fight or start something they will just keep coming back. Ignore them, they will go away when they get bored.

Their fun is getting people riled up and mad. In the world we will have tribulations. Just turn the other cheek.

We must acknowledge that the violations system is not perfect. In fact, it begins with someone (anyone) reporting a violation. Since so very many reports are made every day, it is no wonder the system has had to be automated to a significant degree, and some errors creep in.

Having said that, it is also possible that whatever you said in response to such a rude question was "incorrect," in that the only appropriate response would have been to report the questioner for a violation. Feeding insecticides to humans just HAS to be considered insulting, at the very least!

I asked the same question about my violation. There was a question someone asked about the Qu'ran that had some outrageous statements in it. When I responded to that person's claims, my answer was removed. Funny, isn't it, how we can have absolutely obscene questions, but the responses get shelved.

It could of been the questioner that gave you the violation for not liking your answer, it happens.

I got a violation for saying my favorite song was imagine.. They make mistakes often here, I would not think anything was done out of malicious intent on your part.

You should have simply replied that the answer was in bad taste and should have reported abuse.

having said that I do endorse that the reaction of yahoo wasn't impartial.

Advise:

There are three things that you NEVER discuss with strangers

1. RELEGION
2. POLITCS
3. THE OJ SIMPSON TRIAL

no matter how much you may want to avoid it at all cost.

I hope your day gets better.

Lol, Imagine is my favortie song, too. Oh, yeah, back to the point, all people make mistakes. Just deal with it, and walk on. Better get used to it.
