I am sorry that you were hurt early in life by this Pastor......
Will you allow your bitterness toward one misguided Pastor or other Christians to rob you of eternal life? The Bible is no less true than it was when you went to church in the past. If my measure of walking with Christ depended on people then I would have some serious problems because there are all kinds of people claiming to be Christians who aren't.
Don't toss away God's greatest gift to you because of what man has done. Christ's love is real and unchanging, and He has promised that when everyone else forsakes you He will never forsake you.
As far as the Revelation - As a child of God I strongly believe that if, and when, the anti-Christ begins to impose his mark on people all real Christians will be able to recognize the imposter and resist his lies and his mark even to the point of death and martyrdom. God never fails His people.
God's rules never change to satisfy the times as you said above. People may keep changing things, but God's word will stand pure and unchanging through eternity. You and I and everyone else is responsible for our own understanding of what the Bible says. We can read the Bible and listen to what others say, but in the end we will be responsible for what
we believe personally.
God is still in the business of forgiving and cleansing us from every evil thing we have done - and he loves everyone the same. You should ask Him to heal the inner hurts you have suffered, forgive you for turning away from Him and let Him fill your heart with His love and sustain you from now on. It is hard to live with anger and bitterness - I know - I hated my own
father for 23 years for abandoning me when I was a boy. God
healed that hatred and helped me forgive my father before he died.

Calm down. You are talking about a prophecy that was to occur during the end times of civilization as we know it. How would a man who lived 2,000 years ago describe the sights that he would see today.
There are several modern theories about the meaning of 666. They include the bar code symbols that use three series of six lines. The 666 system is supposed to only allow its members to buy and sell (in the Bible). The number was supposed to be in the forehead or in the hand. It could be something similar to a credit card, whether held in the hand, or under the skin. I could not find any reference where it would be BURNED in the skin. It could be a tattoo.

Sorry that you feel the way you do. I have been in church for years and never witnessed any abuse or meanness toward anyone. We are all told that we are sinners and we are also reminded that one sin is not any different from another sin in God's eyes and that we are all saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. I am not scared of anything in the book of Revelation. I am one of God's children and I have His protection now and always. If the things that are talked about in Rev. come to pass, I will trust God.

the bible was introduced to humanity diametriacally opposed to the truth... by the past,
the sell out of the spirit... that is where you are tortured in the spirit.... how would we know that when it is sold out from under us in childhood... so that people don't know what it feels like to be free spiritually...
we are born spiritual, emotional, mental, physical
how would you feel if you were a slave physically mentally or emotionally not nice is it.... then imagine the mess we are all in by being made slaves spiritually... Revelations is written of the time when mother nature will come to battle what "satan" did in the spirit... beginning with the catholic church...

I am not scared about it. People can wonder all they want though. Why can't a computer chip be burned into your hand? Where does it say it has to be burned?

You take offense at the way people deal with Revelation and therefore the whole Bible is wrong?
May I humbly suggest you take offense at the people, not the book.
Revelation states, at the very outset, that it is a book of symbols.
So please don't take it literally.

Heb:11:13: These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Heb:11:14: For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
Heb:11:15: And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
Heb:11:16: But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Heb:11:23: By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
Heb:11:24: By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
Heb:11:25: Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Heb:11:26: Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
Heb:11:27: By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Heb:11:28: Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
