you christians make me sick.
the word of god says to give,give,give,give.
you need to stop being hypocrites and go out there and give at least 100.00 dollars to a poor person.
god is love.
look at me as an example, God led me to a widow and i gave her 100.00 dollars.
i expect all my brothers and sisters in the lord to be like me and give!
and than you wonder why atheists mock us.

If you are one of the above then obviously you should believe it. But I am too and I am also Catholic. Am I allowed to believe in this sort of thing? Will God smite me? Should I have made my confirmation? I realize that is a lot to answer but thank you.

It is something I struggle with and I would like to be 'loosened' from it. I wouldn't call it an addiction, because it's not something that I deal with every day, but it is still nonetheless a sin, in thought and in action.

Do I have to share this issue with someone, or can I keep it between me and God? I am too embarrassed to go forward in public...of course knowing that God knows is the ultimate embarrassment.

Would love to hear some input on this from a Christlike perspective - thanks in advance for your help.

I've noticed that most of the time, when you see either a debate about whether there is a God, etc.. or if you see people making comments on places like Yahoo Answers, etc.. you almost always find that the Atheists direct their comments toward Christians.

I am sure it happens with other groups, but I rarely have seen an Atheist suggest other religious groups are "delirious" or believe in "fairy tales" etc etc because they believe in a God. There are most definitely other religions that believe in deities of different kinds and it just seems weird that Atheists choose to pick on the Christians in their comments.

I'm only asking because it makes me curious. I just figure if, for example, a Muslim believes in Allah, wouldn't Atheists think them the same as they think about Christians because there are no Gods to Atheists?

As I said, I know it probably happens, but it's MOSTLY against Christians when Atheists speak up. Why?

A friend of mine is like, all talk with wicca, sayin shes a non practicing wicca. she butts her opinion into everyones conversations and yells at people all the time who just try to help. Someone asked a friend to pray for them cuz they were goin through a rough time and this girl just started yelling and screaming at her about the praying thing. how is this justified? sh doesnt practice any of wicca. can she really call herself one?
