Jesus answers this in two separate places.

John 4:
48 Jesus therefore said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe."

and

John 20:
29 Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."

If a person may let go of things they have been told are true and look around at the vastness and enormity of life and forms of life - at the wonders of earth and in space - they may too see there is "something". This would be God.

Because if s/he proved it to you, you don't really BELIEVE. You KNOW. There's a difference. Deities want belief, they want faith and works through faith. They want their followers to place complete trust in them without the necessity of proof. It's not faith otherwise. And as for the proof you named in your question, scientists would find a way to explain it without supernatural reasons. You know that as well as anyone else here. I don't think you should believe, I don't think you should have faith, that's a purely personal decision. I'm just telling you what my understanding of this whole situation is.

God proves he exist everyday. God reveals his truth to those who love the truth and is available to all who seek the truth. God is a spirit and we come to know him through sprit. With our flesh we do not see God but only through the spirit is the truth revealed. The truth is revealed to those who love the truth in spirt as it is spirit that is eternal not flesh which does perish,

Didn't we answer this question several times already? If you didn't like our answer then, then you won't like our answer now.

Like Jesus said, if you don't believe Moses and the prophets, then you won't believe someone who came back from the dead, either.

People who hate God and his rules will always find an excuse to not believe, no matter what God shows you as proof.

Because how would we prove that we are worthy? It is easy to have faith when you see all that stuff around but rather difficult when you don't. It would almost be forcing himself on the population if he did it that way. I think he wants us to be able to think how we want to think and to let our true nature show through without any interference. He likes us to be free to make our own choices.

Religion is founded upon faith, which is a belief in that for which there is no evidence.

What then would be left for a deity that did not need the faith of its followers to exist?

My guess is that if anything like that happened people would find some way to "explain" it away so as NOT to believe it is God. Perhaps that is why, perhaps God wants people to believe in Him because they want to, and not be forced to believe.

How can a non-existant being prove it exists though? That would be one hell of good answer.

Prove it exists? Don't you know that theists hate evidence. It is against their laws. Nice try.

I am a proud Muslim believer and if you knew half the things I know about Islam and the way of life, you would understand completely. Take time to find a nice Muslim website and read what it says about God. God does not need to show himself to a being like yourself. We are his slaves and to him we all will return soon enough. You may not belive this because you are a non believer, but it's certainly true. If you look online, there ARE pictures of miraculous things that show he exists. So research before you assume anything wrong of my God.
