Did it hurt to walk after you received the holy spirit?
Someone might have been handing you a line there.

There is no grand universal purpose to life. The Earth could blow up tomorrow and it wouldn't affect the universe much. Bigger explosions happen all the time. We are just a bit of smudge on a speck of dust on a mediocre solar system on the edge of an average galaxy.
The only purpose to your life is that which you give it yourself.
The Holy Spirit is just a superstition. It's a "feel good" tactic of religion. Gods just do not exist.

There are some missing pieces of information needed to know how best to help you. The first thing is to determine whether or not you have truly been saved. Sounds rude. It's not meant to be. Without a true salvation experience you are not going to be moved by the Holy Spirit to do anything but come to salvation.
Take the test below to see what I mean:

I don't think everyone HAS to have a purpose or planned life. God does not do everything!! He doesn't plan your every move, decision in life. You make those. If you want to believe in him and stuff like that then they created the earth!!! Not that they control your destiny. That is up to you.

Your purpose on earth is to live this life and make the most of it. Use your talents and skills to make the world a better place.

Read ROMANS 8:28-30
Sweetheart, everyone has a purpose, ask God, pray often.
If you pray and believe, Jesus will answer you.
God Bless You

God has a purpose for you presently. What it is; is between God and yourself. Ask him in prayer soon what it is; and you may have to do it more than once; sincerely, not mechanically.

You have to find your own purpose....you don't just wait for it to fall into your lap. If you want to help children....do something about it. Etc.

I think everyone does - you just gotta listen hard and keep trying and you will find out what it is. The hard part is fulfilling it!

then i reccomend seeking a purpose.
if you feel you need to sit back and wait for a purpose to come to you then youre wasting your time.
if you feel that you have to accept idiocies to have a purpose then youre wasting your time.
if you feel you have to blindly accept dogma to "find" your true purpose then youre wasting your time.
either GIVE yourself a purpose or just sit there and wait til something happens to you.
your call.
