Whoa, look how you worded it.
If you are in a dangerous marriage, you can leave.
If your kids are abused, you can leave taking the kids to safety.
Nothing in the Bible says you cannot not leave.
You can stay away as long as necessary to get the marriage back in order.
Once the abuser as stopped, remorseful, gone through the necessary counseling, etc, etc, then pick up where things was left off and keep going.
The Bible does give the only reason to divorce though.

Matthew 5:32
However, I say to YOU that everyone divorcing his wife, except on account of fornication, makes her subject for adultery, and whosoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Mat 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

it doesn't matter, really.
xians only shriek about the anti-gay laws.
they divorce like crazy, making divorce an institution in this country, ignoring the words of jesus about divorce...
it's the usual hypocrisy, cherry-picking the bible -- shrieking loudly about bible-laws that don't affect them, ignoring the bible laws that woudl make their lives inconvenient. THAT is the xian way!!

Does it really matter? One shouildn't stay in a relationship just because some 2000 year old superstitious yahoos said you can't leave.
You have a brain. Use it. Only you can determine if the relationship you are in it worth staying in.
