I'm tired of religious people feeling the need to convert those that they feel are not religious. My annoyance is mostly with Christian and Baptists.

Isn't this ever-elusive Worldly Peace we all seek, nothing more than a deep desire for Inner Personal Peace?

I tried to find the religion of my ansecters and i stumbled across wicca now i looked at it and i was a bit shocked becuase i heard and read in books that pagan gods were supposed to be manly and still be respectfull of the earth but it seemed a bit feminie to me and i was riased by my dad to be a manly man. now i know alot more and im nolonger a pagan dont worry im not a christian. i still respect wicca but i was wondering what is the most "manly" pagan religion.

I mean, now that they've horn-swaggled the fundies into buying into zionism, why be so reticent? I think y'all should celebrate your mutual affection, running so strong and deep as it does. How about a Broadway musical? Or a action cartoon series, with "sabra" super-heroes,always with a "Tonto"-like fundie sidekick, goofy but lovable and always in need of rescue?

We are anonymous, but shouldn't we show the same courtesy as if we weren't anonymous?
If we were dealing with someone face to face and they wrote out something misspelling a word, would any of us say,"Learn to spell." I have seen things like that.

Also doesn't our religions teach us charity toward people who might have handicaps, visual, learning etc."

In Britain the rules of spelling and grammar are not always the same as the U. S. That is why someone got so angry and ask a question about spelling.

In Britain they think of words like nation, country, state etc as plural words since they comprise many people and they use verbs are, were, etc.

In the U. S. we think of them as single entities even though they comprise many people and we use the verbs is, was, etc.

Aren't good manners more important than good spelling and correct grammar?

Secularists believe in finding our own moral conduct because our hearts can be good.

But look at the rudeness here. Its because we are hidden behind the screen name. Face to face, many in society say how secular humanist ideas are so wonderful. Let each one of us decide what is right and what is wrong. Lets find out own truth.

But look how people behave (on here for example) when we are not speaking in front of a crowd. Pure evil.

Therefore perhaps the antithesis of this is correct....that is, we are all sinful and in need of forgiveness and deep repentance. We need a change of heart to be good, and to allow G-d to write His law on our heart.

Is secular humanism proved wrong simply by forums like this? I think this R & S has proven one thing...people are evil. (no matter the denomination, beliefs, etc)

Thoughts?

Maybe we're all dead. Perhaps we're the people who refused to belive that our lives are over, and that we still go on. What if everything around you- look around- IS FAKE? Am I dead? Are you dead? Or are we just empty inside? Or... Is it Boogiepop? Should bad things be forgotten? Should I be sorry when it wasn't my fault? Should I love him? Should I hate him? Would someone please take the spider off of my heart!

I was just wondering what they do there and why it is necessary to go every Sunday or as much as possible. I don't think that I should be looked down upon just because I work most Sundays and have no interest in going to Church. Isn't it enough that I follow the religion?

Then, do you think that male masturbation should be banned, because it causes sperm cells to die, much like embryos?

Sperm cells are also seeds of human beings, should kinky teenagers go to jail for jacking off???

You seem a little more arrogant and spiteful than normal today.

And since I have more space I'd just like to ask you, that if you're going to insult christians, it would help to know what we actually believe. Or at least don't put us all in the same box. We're not all bible thumpers and many of us do believe in evolution and science etc... I certainly don't believe that stuff is in conflict with the bible.
