You don't believe that evolution is in conflict with the bible?
Have you actually read the bible? You don't have to get very far (Genesis) to see that the bible's creation stories are in complete conflict with evolution.
I don't understand why some Christians try so hard to rationalize the bible in order to try and make it fit with the conclusions of modern science. I imagine it's because all of the science adds up and makes sense for some Christians but they aren't yet prepared to let go of the security blanket.
Sorry if that sounds arrogant.

I had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch breakfast bar and a Ms Debby apple pie.
For lunch, I had the other Cinnamon Toast Crunch breakfast bar I had on me.
Most of us DO know the beliefs of many different types of Christians. One can generally tell who is truly being targetted in an overgeneralization. If you're not part fo the target, really, don't make an issue of it. I promise, it's not all that hard. :)

A christian liver - with fava beans! LOL
Just kidding. I'm not actually an atheist or anything-ist, neither am I an anything-ian.
I find the whole interplay between christians and atheists here rather amusing.
You can't 'prove' your beliefs on anyone else!

Toaster pancakes. Never again, I knew it didn't make sense but I bought them out of curiosity. Blech.
You spelled "atheists" wrong, and it doesn't need to be capitalized. "Christians", on the other hand, should be. An amazing number of atheists are capable of spelling "Christian". It's amazing how few Christians bother to extend the same courtesy to atheists, and how few realize that both "Christ" and "Christian" are proper nouns.
Perhaps calling people's attention to this ad nauseam contributes somewhat to my mood...or maybe it's the fact that I know EXACTLY what Christians believe, and it has nothing to do with evolution, or science. It has to do with the fundamentally disrespectful, hypocritical nature of religious faith, and how blind its adherents are to how objectionable it really is.

Yes being a hypocrite by only believing portions of the bible you prefer is much better than believing the entire book of lies. I had a granola bar for breakfast. It was delicious.

Some candy that I stole from a baby, seeing as I have no morals. Thanks for telling all of us arrogant and spiteful atheists that we shouldn't put you christians in the same box.

I had coffee and a smoke.
Why do you care?
Oh, and since you all generally believe in the same myth, you're fair game. You Christians treat us all like we're alike too - that we all hate Christians, we're all abortion-lovers, unhappy, immoral, promiscuous scum..
