I wondered that too and bought a book called "A divine revelation of hell". I don't know if it is accurate or not, but I don't want to go there.

Has anyone else read this book?

I have not read the book. My idea of hell on earth is someone in the last stages of cancer when pain meds no longer work. Surely any other hell could not be any worse.

The word hell means "deep pit". Look in any good dictionary and non- biased encyclopedia. The idea of a fiery hell is not based on the Bible, but came from pagan religions.

Hell is mankind's common grave. When Jonah was in the big fish the Bible said he was in hell. Was it a fiery place? No, of course not. But it would have become his grave.
Also, Jesus was said to go to hell. The plain fact is when Jesus died he went to his grave and 3 days later was resurrected because of his obedience to his Father.

Think: If you had a child and that child did something bad would you torture that child by means of fire? That would be abuse, right? Yet religions today say that is what our loving Creator does to those who disobey him. What we get for disobeying him is death forever with no hope of a resurrection not torture!

As LoneRanger said the Bible's view is not a place of torture. If you can feel nothing, how can you be tortured?

Rather She'ol, Hades, or Hell is mankind's common grave. Whether we be buried, cremated, entombed, dumped at sea, or shot into space, that is our hell or grave. Nothing terrible about it; except if it weren't for Adam's messup it would be unnecessary thing.

We don't have to fear it, we instead should look forward to a ressurection to life on a paradise earth. Because of a generous God, the errors of our forefathers can be erased.

Mary k. Baxter is a delusional nut who claims to have had a "divine revelation of hell" when in reality she's just scamming gullible people into buying her book.

I've read the book and it is laughable. Especially, the ending when the demons start chasing her .

Hell does not exist. The concept of hell as a place of everlasting torment is not Biblical.

The wicked will simply die and cease to exist:

Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die......

Read the Bible and you'll get the tre picture.
The awful ting abouthell is not the fire, brimstone or the worm that ever dies - it is the ABSENDE of GOD which akes hell unbearable!!!
If you do not wat to end up there, you will need to have JESUS Christ as LORD AND SAVIOUR of your life for only He can save you from hell....

Gimme a break, if there is any hell at all, it is here on earth. It is what you make it - as in, your life and actions determine your hell.
