Jehovah's Witnesses typically arrange for congregation meetings in a "Kingdom Hall", which seats perhaps 200.

These "Assembly Halls of Jehovah's Witnesses" are used for Circuit Assemblies and for Special Assembly Days, as well as other special programs which require seating for one thousand to four thousand attendees.

There is at least one "Christian Convention Center of Jehovah's Witnesses" which seats about 6000.

They are generally only found in areas where other facilities are not readily available or affordable. In Kansas City, they use the Memorial Hall in downtown KCK, but where my mother lives, there is an Assembly Hall in Yuba City, CA. They also have one is the Los Angeles basin, where normal facilities are just too expensive.

District Assemblies are always held in convention centers, as they compete for the JW business. The facilities get a thorough cleaning before and after, and if the sound system is not up to par, they replace it with an upgrade, which the center gets to keep. That's what they did here as Kemper Arena.

Sorry, I'm really not sure. I've only ever been to the one in St. Louis, and I don't remember reading anything about the number of Assembly Halls in the U.S. Perhaps if you asked about a specific location, someone from around there could give you a better answer. :)
