Is this blasphemous?

Do you assume a person is uneducated or "stupid" when you find out they are a Christian? Even before you have any actual interaction with them? Please be honest. I am not making judgements, I am just curious.

Whenever a question is asked about religion.... a generalisation.
It is usually only the Christians that say they are the only ones with the 'true' religion. Why is this?
Are the rest of us, whatever our beliefs or disbeliefs, more 'enlightened'?

Now don't get me wrong here... I am a christian and I am sure he has been blessed for the good things he may have done. I just don't believe that preying on people and making the biggest spectical of yourself possible is very... shall we say Christlike. I am not opposed to paying tithes and offerings to the church and I do that. However, I never remembered Christ requesting money and making a huge scene to heal someone. In my opinion... I hope Jerry enjoyed life while it lasted.

What Bible scriptures are there supporting censorship?

I am a non-theist, who has spent alot of time in Mormon country. I was never treated badly by these people. As a matter of fact, I think I respect them more than most religious people that I have been in contact with. I am baffled with the whole concept of religion in the new millenia anyway, I just think it's a little bit silly (no offense-that is just my opinion).
What is it? I, like so many others, love conflict.
Gimme some details, please!

He was so aggressively hateful in life, and regularly went in public expressing numerous deadly sins (most notably pride, wrath and envy- remember when he said Billy Graham was the tool of Satan?). He branded his opposition not as people who disagreed with him, but as people who were sinful and wicked and evil. He seemed to seek every opportunity to seize the spotlight and milk it to his own personal gain; he established an (unaccredited) university to carry on his work, and he has stabbed close friends and former colleagues in the back the second they have become unpopular (witness what he did with Jim Baker). And the whole time, he said he was doing it all in Jesus' name.

If there is a hell, this guy is a prime candidate, right?

Continue to judge people who don't share your beliefs, and display incredible pride and arrogance? Doesn't that strike you as a little hypocritical seing as your bible teaches against pride and tells you not to judge people? or are you only Christian when it suits you?

God will judge him, we should be thinking about the day when we face our maker, and what will we be remembered for? Someone who trusted Christ and lived for Him, and obeyed Him- or lived a life that pleased ourselves. We too will be judged. How would you like to be remembered?

LGBT, Pagan, feminist, secular, you know...

Can you have compassion for the people he's left behind now?

He's employed an awful lot of people and built the city of Lynchburg, VA up single-handed. His college is having commencement this week, and now the tone will be really changed. Thinking of them is the only way I can be compassionate about this and not do something like sing the "Kiss Him Goodbye" song.

How about y'all?

Matthew 17:20
"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU!!!

1) Prove the existence of your god without using any logical fallacies. Impossible!

2) Move a mountain by using faith alone. Impossible!

3) Perform any other miracle, such as raising Jerry Falwell from the dead. Impossible!

Either this verse is a lie or there are no Christians on the planet.

Which one is it??

the head of the Roman Catholic Church?

If even one pope contradicted Christ, he would not be the "vicar" of Christ, and the Catholic church would be nothing more than a religious organization, not the church of Jesus Christ.

Many Papal decrees have contradicted the truth of the Bible and even Jesus Christ specifically.

Is the Catholic church, therefore, part of the true church of Jesus Christ?

Or not?

he cared about doing his part in shaping the future of america.
now i know he had his negatives too as would anyone to whom the media followed so closely. please dont get smart here-but to those of you who knew or worked for him in some way could you please say something good about the life of one so great?
i for one admired his determination and his success to establish liberty u. where thousands and thousands of us had a chance to live and study.
