'it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven'
I believe this means that if you are very rich, you find it hard to give to the poor because you find money so precious. It is very possible for a rich man to enter heaven, only if he helps poorer people as well.

I think rich Christians who give back to the community have as much chance as anyone else to go to heaven...wealth is a matter of relevance...to many, I am sure that you are wealthy...will you go to heaven?
I think the bigger issue is the wealthy churches. The churches who use the money given to God by way of a tithe to build multi-million dollar buildings, etc..are not doing the Lord's work in my opinion. That money could be better put to use, feeding the hungry, taking care of the orphans widowed and poor...instead of paying millions for upkeep of a tower of pride that so many churches seem intent on building....these churches and their leaders will answer to God for using his money in this way.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what your talking about but here goes....My brother makes a rude amount of money. He has earned every penny of it honestly. He paid his way through law school and will not practice defense law. He gave me 2000.00 for Christmas a few years ago. I got mad and he told me to please take it back because I felt bad for taking it. He told me to please keep it because "what God giving, God can take away". We laughed, but he was serious and it works out well for me cuz I get great gifts. Although I have never asked him for a dime. He also gives generously to his church, AR Children's Hospital, ect. He gives much more than "10%"! But on the flip side he does have a nice car, house, office, boat, ect. I believe with all my heart he'll ride up to heaven in his Benz and God will be happy to let him in! He's a great Christian example!

i'm a Christian and fairly there's a level to which I believe you. you are able to stay a wealthy, worthwhile, loving , happy existence without Jesus. Jesus on your heart does complicate issues and reasons each and every action to be reconsidered. it is fairly very draining each and every so often. yet i'm going to enable you recognize it fairly is properly worth it because of the fact even nevertheless there are cases without the stunning, the worthwhile , and the richness, the peace in my heart is what gets me with the aid of. So while you're on the backside of the barell without the peace it is whilst it concerns me. to each his very own and fairly in case you reside precise and are a kind loving guy or woman why do you think of you're being judged by applying Christians. it isn't the business enterprise we are think to be in! while you're being judged they're incorrect! i'm not ticked off which you do not believe in "the sky fairy", i'm not ticked off in any respect! i such as you regardless! everyone does. the Bible says it's hard, cuz getting rid of your "idols" usually is. the disciples asked "who then can be saved?" because the common belief of the time was that if you were rich you were one of God's favorites, so they thought "if God's favorites don't get in, who can?"
the Pharisees were rich. they threw their money from afar into the offering pot to let everyone know they were giving a lot. read that same passage with the Widow's mite

Are you saying "rich" Christians are not as good as "poor" Christians? God does not care whatsoever how much money you have or what your material posessions are. He cares that you believe in Him.

That is God's call; not mine presently. After all, God can read 'why' for them; notI presently. 1 Samuel 16:7.

Well, you know...I leave it to God to judge others. Here is a bible verse you might be interested in: "work out your own salvation in fear and trembling". Notice that it said your own. Not someone else's.
