I think that forcing God out of our lives is a large protion of what is wrong with this country
People like you speak equal rights
When my child and other people can't pray in school, whose right is being trampled???
When we can't do something simple like display the Ten Commandments, whose rights are being trampled.
If you don't want to read them, look the other way
If you don't want to pray with me, don't listen

I think I must be so freaking retarded. Even just looking at prayer logically, I think that can only help (if there is a supreme being who will listen and answer) or it certainly can't hurt (if there is *no* supreme being, then it does no harm.)

When I went to school..we prayed and read the Bible in school..you NEVER heard of a teacher that had been killed by a student, we had "Respect for our elders"..
You may also see two students fighting over a girl and one may get a black eye..Now they resort to killing one another.. :(
The worse thing we did as children in school was to write our names on the bathroom walls, with lipstick (no we did not use it after)..
It was not until they took prayer and God out of school, that children began to disrespect their peers.. :(

not hazard county i hope!!!!!!!!!!!yes they should bring prayer back and the bible back to school! you forget this country was founded on religion and once they removed it from the schools no matter what county, all schools have become filled with trash,violence,sexual preditors,drugs.

I don't think prayer ever left the schools.. if you've ever forgotten to study for a test, or forgot a huge assignment.. you know I'm right.

I think that if a student chooses to pray in school, and there friend's choose to join that is fine.
The teachers and officials guiding it is wrong. They go to school to become educated, not religious.
However, I do think that by stopping students from praying if they choose is wrong and is open to discussion about non-believer's trying to control what they think.
