Beliefs can not be banned from existence because they only exist in an individuals mind. You would have to ban the individual to ban the belief. In a way we do this. People who have the belief that it is OK to murder may be put to death. But for the most part, it can not be done.

You're a bad, bad squirrel. I like pineapple on pizza. It's especially good with pineapple, ham or sausage, and jalapenos.

An irrational belief: That Jesus suffered more than any human being ever suffered, and the fact that he came back from the dead and has been living in heaven for the past 2,000 years doesn't change that one bit.

i would ban pretty much any belief that comes under the heading of 'religion'...after all, these beliefs are the very definition of irrational.

when people talk the origins of species they should check out the origins of religions... did you know that the bible was first introduced by the roman empire... it was introduce in a then secret language called latin... then was enforced with violence.... it was meant as a tool to control and conquer... now that it's against the law to murder even for christians "because until we had freedom of religion christians could murder non christians without penalty" in the end christianity cannot exist without violence to support it... because it don't make sense. And as we continue to develop and our societies begin to accept seperation of church and state... we will see the acceptance of chrisitanity fading.
