This is a song I wrote for my daughter Katy. I never got to meet her (it's a long story) and she died of SIDS at the age of 5 months old. My heart has grieved for what could have been since the day she went home to Jesus. I just wanted to share this short song I wrote for her. God bless.

"The Father I Can't Be"

Sometimes as I close my eyes
I see her face again.
She's snuggled up in my lap;
you know she's my best friend.

So I listen to her heart beat,
and I clutch her to me tight.
I hold her safe in my arms,
hold her through the night.

But in the light it's just a dream;
so I fall to my knees.
I bow low before my King,
and send up a desperate plea.

I pray...

Hold her close Jesus,
sing a song just for her and me.
Whisper her a bedtime story,
be the Father I can't be.

You know I love her Jesus.
She's everything to me.
So hold her tight Jesus,
and be the Father I can't be.

You know I love her Jesus
so be the Father I can't be.

Suppose I were to tell you I have this absolutely wonderful, fabulous thing in my life that makes me happy 24-7, AND a lot of my friends have it and it makes them happy. In fact, everyone I know that has it, loves it. I KNOW with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that if you got it, you would be filled with joy, and I am sure that if EVERYONE in the world had it, they would all be equally happy. I can't imagine how anyone can live without it, but a lot of people I tell don't seem very interested. Some are, but some sort of laugh condescendingly, some just nod and ignore me, while others tell me to go away and stop bothering them. A couple of people tell me they had it, and loved it, but aren't interested in it anymore, which I just can't believe!

The thing is my shiny red tricycle. You see, I'm only three years old.

Let the insults begin.

That's what I've been told after asking a question about terrorism - I should study the quran and see it's peaceful.

So here's my question - did muslim terrorists never read it and see it was peaceful?

If it is indeed possible to misunderstand it must not be written clearly enough.

Did allah write it (or had it written) so vaguely and easily to misinterpret by accident, or on purpose?

First off, I am a Christian and believe in God and Jesus. My question is why he would want and/or allow all the violence in the old testament?

In the largest study of its kind, researchers found that having people pray for heart bypass surgery patients had NO effect on their recovery. In fact, patients who knew they were being prayed for had a slightly higher rate of complications.

Do you agree or disagree and why.

Mat 27:46
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

If this was Jesus, than why would he cry out by saying that, it's blasphamy (i.e. Sin).

Even if that is Jesus(pbuh):

Wouldn't this mean that Jesus is not god, since he's crying out for god.

So if it is Jesus, than that means he commited a sin
as we all know Jesus is sinless, so he wouldn't commit blasphamy.

if it is Jesus, and he was god like Christians say why would he be crying out for himself.

Another view of marriage.

If you had a husband whose responsibility it was to pay for all your costs, provide you with suitable housing, pay for all your children's expenses, provide you with social recreation as well as treat you kindly, patiently and with justice, would you cooperate with him?

Would you try to make him happy, respect him and forgive him for any wrongs he might do?

Along with that, you would have the right to earn and keep your own money and he wouldn't have the right to tell you how to spend it. You could be a millionaire but he would still have the responsibility to pay for all your needs. Doesn't that sound great?

It happens.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast."

To me, this scripture says that it is not a man's faith that saves him. It is faith from God that saves a man. "... through faith, and this is not from yourselves..."

pagan beliefs, and that is why are beliefs go totally against the bible. This isn't true, but if it was catholics had 1,500 years with the bible please tell me they couldn't change the bible to make it similar to their beliefs, so people wouldn't doubt them? If they could why didn't they? If your going to say that God didn't let the bible be touched, why would God let his church be paganized?

I have felt the holy spirit befor while i was singing at my church. And i just want to ask has anybody felt it like me? I know people feel it in different ways. It felt something like electricity going ALL through my body. Another way i can describe it is like you know when u sleep on your hand or foot and it gets numb and when you move it it tinkles? Well it was like THAT. WHen i was singing about Jesus i felt these tinkles and it got stronger and stronger and it was EVERYWHERE in my body and my body started to get numb and i could not move and my hands got stiff and my freind could not move it. Thing about it was that i was not scared and it did not hurt at all. But it was soooo powerful and i was happy. I was disspointed when it went away and i have not felt it since. But i know it cuz i need to start praying and fasting again. Has anybody felt it like that??

I see that there are alot of rules and regulations (about 613 plus), that a Jew must follow. Why do you Jews want to be restricted if it doesnt make any difference whether u are a Jew or someone following the 7 commandments of Noah. Both will get rewards? No?

Thankyou for answering my previous questions.
Peace.

Why can't we all just get along. We're all trying to do the same thing, be good people, so why can't we just all get along.
Also, how can we fix this. How can we mend our relationships?
