... the real answers from those who do speak against Christians, and give a fellow Christian a best answer instead? Wouldn't it be better to get a real answer from those who actually know instead of a Christian who can't know the real answer?

Its like talking about why you think an abused woman stabbed her abusive husband, and totally ignoring anything she said while coming to your own conclusions.

Don't you think thats kind of stupid?

Sincere question. No bashing. No hate. I keep hearing about Heavenly Father and I think his name is Elohim or something. Today is Mother's day and I was wondering if it has ever been revealed what Heavenly Mother's name is. After all, she is the Mother of over 10 billion kids to populate Planet Earth, if there was ever a time to pay her a little respect, today would be the day, right? With that many kids it kinda makes you wonder if she had some help. Maybe there was more than 1 Heavenly Mother? I wonder if in the Celestial Kingdom there are more babies born at once? Maybe 4 or 5 at a time? How long would pregnancies last? I know some of you think I am being a smart alec but think about it., arent these legitimate questions? I wonder if the Mormon Women of today are going to end up in the same boat as Heavenly Mother(s) when they get to the CK? Everyone says if you want to know LDS beliefs, ask them. Not ex-members, not anti's, ask the members. So, I am askin'.

I've heard that Saint Isidore of Seville, who died in 636, is the patron saint of computers. How can you be the patron saint of something that came along 1300 years after your death? Do they draw lots in Heaven or something?

God intends for us to experience life together. The Bible calls this shared experience fellowship. Today, however, the word has lost most of it's biblical meaning. " Fellowship
' now usually refers to casual conversation, socializing, food, and fun. The question, " where do you fellowship?" means "Where do you attend church?" "Stay after for fellowship " usually means " Wait for refreshments."
Real fellowship is so much more than just showing up at services. It is experiencing life together. It includes unselfish living, honest sharing, practical serving, sacrificial giving, sympathetic comforting, and all the other "one another" commands found in the New Testament.

Share each other's troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
Love ~!~ Peace

Evolution. According to those atheist of scientist we exploded from a plasma type atom. Have you ever thought, where did that atom come from? How can an atom that came out of nowhere explode and create the universe? I can set a bomb in the middle of the street and blow up many atoms, but Im not creating any universe. Why are most stars are 3.5 Light years away? How would a atom decide that stars In each galaxy should be a certain distance away? So for the evolution.. Ok scientist say we started out as a cell. Have you ever noticed how complex that cell is? How complex the DNA can be. So it went from Cell > Sea Sponge > Fish > Frog > Lizard > and on... Darwin stated that there are billions of transitional forms. If a duck evolved into a crocodile then why can't we find a crocoduck. I'm not saying that it's true but it is true that we have not discovered any transitional forms on earth. So scientist, evolutionist, and atheist think when we die we rot and becomes dirt.

What if the true purpose of God is to see who will not believe in him because of lack of evidence and reward them?

What if God is lying about everything in the bible and having a laugh at your expense?

How do you know? Faith?

This number is the current estimate from a protestant source (David B. Barrett´s Dictionary of Christianity in America -Downers Grove, IL: Intervarsity Press) that counted 22,150 distinct denominations in the world in 1985.
Each believes something different. Big or small difference doesn´t matter. The truth is one: Jesus.
Remember:
• 1 Cor. 14:33 - he is not the God of disorder
• Jn. 17:22-23 - that they may be one, as we are one, ... that they may be brought to perfection as one
• Rom. 15:5 - God grant you to think in harmony with one another
• Rom. 16:17 - avoid those who create dissensions
• 1 Cor. 1:10, 13 - I urge that there be no divisions among you... Is Christ divided?
• Eph. 4:11-14 - “he gave some as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers...for building up the body of Christ,...until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God ...so that we may no longer be infants, tossed by waves and swept along by every wind of teaching”

Various sectarian groups seek to monopolize words to suit their own religious bigotry. Hence, at one time groups sought to monopolize Trinity, Atheism, Heresy, Blasphemy, Arianism, Predestination, Soul, Hell, Purgatory, etc. A curious case is the term Holocaust which some Jews engage in monopolizing. But that word stems, not from Hebrew, but from Greek, and has to do with Greek fertility cult worship. Why pick such a silly word? Why is a Greek cult word used for a Jewish case? Would it not be better to pick a Hebrew term?

Okay eveolution says we come from a certain species of monkeys right? So were basically all animals. But I read in an article that said humans can see 600-700 colors. Can evolution explain why every other animals (even our distant relatives) can only 2 or 3, but we humans can see hundreds. Dont you think SOMEONE had it all planned, or do you call this an accident as well.

"You are from beneath; I am from above" John 8:23
"I am the king of the Jews" John 19:2
"I am the light of the world" John 8:12
"I am the son of God" John 10:36
"I am the God of your fathers" Acts 7:32
" I am......."
" I am.."
"I am.."

too much "I AM" statements for the humble "good sheperd" that he was, don't you think?
It's obvious he had an identity crisis. He always asked his disciples and others what they thought of him.
Now, who do you say he is?

Really, If you don't do want he wants your cast out, or worse, sounds alot like Hitler to me, I think that Lucifer realized how evil God was and tried to stop him and was unsuccessful, thus he was cast out, Why is the Devil evil, he just wants people to be free to do what they want, how is that evil, God on the other hand sounds alot like the evil empire. When wars are won, isn't the history always written to make the victor's seem like the heros, I think this is what happened in the battle between God and Lucifer, Lucifer lost so he is made out to be the bad evil guy and of course God is the good hero, when in reality it is God that is the most evil of all.

than Christians?

I just asked, as a straight person, if I was welcome in Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgendered, here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ai8sis0Epv8PYaDsvIXN477sy6IX?qid=20070513154413AAPAQAo

Every single person said "Although you aren't part of our group, we welcome you." Don't you find it odd that these people are so welcoming to "outsiders", while Christians tell Atheists daily that they don't belong in this section.

God's existence is proven valid historically and through miracles. Miracles of the past and miracles now.

There are many miracles that have happened in the past, and many current ones you can even visit. For instance of a present one, go to the city---Assisi, Italy.
At the Church of St. Francis of Assisi (or it might have been the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi), there is a statue of of St. Francis with a watering bowl where two white doves, which are not native to the area, are ALWAYS present, day and night. Whenever one white dove leaves, immediately another takes it's place the same second. Go see it for yourself. How do atheists respond to this?

There are many other miracles. Another example: Our Lady of Fatima. It was performed amidst 70,000 people, INCLUDING GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS that came to make sure things didn't go crazy, but they too fell at their face in adoration. You might find this one interesting.

How do atheists respond to miracles, namely the present ones?

psalms 14:1

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." (KJV)

Does that mean that according to the bible all atheists are fools, including scientists some of us owe our lives to?

Does it mean that when Warren Buffett donates 37 Billion to charity it's abominable and he still doethn't do good?

Isn't that what the verse says? Is that what you believe?
