What if the true purpose of God is to see who will not believe in him because of lack of evidence and reward them?
What if God is lying about everything in the bible and having a laugh at your expense?
How do you know? Faith?

Please do not quote the bible. The very premise of the question precludes biblical answers.

Where did I ever question the existence of God in this question?
To the guy who said, "I've seen nothing false in the bible so I believe it", you lose at understanding premises of questions.

To the guy who said that I'm tying your hands. In this question the premise is that everything in the Bible is made up by God to trick us or test us for a purpose other than the Christian purpose of life. Therefore the Bible is not a source of evidence. It is like me writing a book that describes my life and purposely lying in it, then you using that book to say what I did during my life.

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. .............sorry but whenever someone comes on a religion forum and tells people not to use the bible, I get this uncontrollable urge to...use the bible....I love how you unbelievers need to tie our hands behide our backs before we answer questions.......since our faith is based on the bible...you're getting bible answers from me....so sorry.

~~~` Okay, here goes my take on your very good question......The first questions was: How do you know that God isn't lying? Well, I can't see Him face to face to watch for telltale signs such as blinking and/or smiling, so I guess I'd just have to follow all the other Sheep and jump off a cliff if that's what He said to do. Believe me though, I'd be near the end of the line just in case He was joking and got tired of His prank. Because I DON'T KNOW if He is lying. The second part of your question: what if the true purpose of God is to see who won't believe because of lack of evidence...and be rewarded. Well then, I guess alot of people will feel cheated. The thired part of this long question: What if he is laughing? If that's the case, then the Guy is warped. And finally the end of all this ......How do we know? Faith?......Nobody can know for sure, and I have Faith we'll never know until He tells us. Did I answer your question good enough? Hope so, it was fun writing it. Peace out now. ~~~
Well. He saved me from a lot. Then also the Lord has giving me the anointing, the seal, the Spirit of Truth. And I test things, and when I choose to Trust the God of the Bible, the Holy Spirit confirms it true. Then I find out later that God was right if I had a hard time trusting something & decided to because of confirmation in my spiritman.
And there were times when I doubted God. And I felt awful & started falling apart again. Then I recognize this, & repent to God for not trusting God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for those who come to God must believe God Is and is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him.
If we doubt the God who saved us from much, we get disciplined & learn that doubting God doesn't please God.
No, your verses are taken out of context. Did you learn them your self? Or discover them on an atheist internet site who hopes to deterr you from God? Pursue the reality with all of your middle and it'll be made identified to you. This is a biblical proposal. However, I too can give an explanation for the verses for you: Your first verse used to be spoken via a sinful character and so his phrases had been deceived and unfaithful. It is from a tale of a sinful town that God threatens when you consider that of its sinful nature. God continuously presents redemtion which he does later within the tale. Your moment verse got here from a rant from Jerenmiah who used to be complaing approximately his difficulty to God and used to be blaming God for his disorders however in truth it used to be his possess sin that used to be deceiving him. The 3rd verse comes from an additional translation then the only I have (which I can give an explanation for the causes for exceptional translations at a further time). But the difficulty remains to be the equal, God says that if a prophet feels forced to talk a prophecy then that's when you consider that God forced him to. And thus if a prophet spoke a deceiving prophecy then it have to had been when you consider that God used to be misleading, that's not possible. The announcement used to be to reassure the authority of God's prophets, it does not imply that God deceives his individuals. You would appear at nearly any textual content on this planet and simply by getting rid of one sentence be in a position to make it look as although it used to be contradictory or fake. God says that should you pursue the reality you are going to discover it.
If you are looking for wrong, then how could you trust something or someone if part is false. But I believe in the Bible, as I haven't seen anything in the Bible that is false, so I believe it all to be true.
If what you said would be true, what would be your reward? You couldn't trust it.
I know because of the faith that I have. If I didn't have faith, Then I wouldn't believe, But because I DO have faith, Then I know that GOD Isn't lying. God is telling the truth.
Because I know. I don't have to guess and I don't have to quote the Bible. God isn't Human. Only the flesh is sinful, not God.
Perhaps that is exactly God intent...but then perhaps it is not. When you are a believer you feel God in your life and His Spirit lives in you. This Spirit speaks to us of His truth, and so we believe.
If He wanted us to NOT believe in Him because of lack of evidence , then why would we feel His approval?
(you can of course say we are imagining it) but then there is no rebuttle to that is there?
yes, faith. I would rather live like there is a God to find out there isn't one, then to live like there isn't one and find out there is one.
Do you believe the world was made by chance? no, it was made by my God and i will believe in Him whether you want to or not. No one can tell me what to do when it comes to Christ's authority.
