The greatest confusion comes when people try to describe polytheism as being monotheism.

Is it because going to cinema to watch Harry Potter and Code of Da Vinci movies more popular than going to Church and people are more interested in Harry Potter and Code of Da Vinci books than Bible???

Why does Christianity concern themselves with fictional books??? Is it because Bible is the greatest fictional book ever and doesn't want to lose that status!!!

Rabbi Saul(St. Paul) Created his own Covenant.

He negated the Divine Law and made Jesus for the Gentiles.

Genesis 17:9-10 ---Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.
This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

Galatians 5:2 ---- Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

Lately I have been doubting the existence of God, because ultimately how can someone have created this world. I have read Genesis and Matthew and from them, I feel a lot of it is impossible and I feel it was written back then as a scapegoat because people did not have the background in science that we have today. Brian Greene, a theorist on the string theory recently spoke at my school, and although it isn't proven ultimately if it does then there really is no free will because everyone thinks because of the different reaction of a string or anything. I asked him if there could be a God if there was no free will and he didnt give me a definnitive answer.
Now I am asking if anybody can pull information about the falsehood of Jesus' resurrection...if anybody can give me helpful links or something that would be great.
Thanks!

So whats my question...my evidence of what they were taught was at least 30 years of growing up Mormon...my question is this...in my church we heal demon possess people and Jesus healed a demon possessed person and being possessed by Beelzebub (the prince of the demon) Mark 3:22, but Jesus said, how could a house stand if it is divided against itself/Mark 3:24, in otherwords, how could my church heal those that are demon possessed if it is the work of the devil??? So the question, finally...Mormons, how do you explain this??? Was the person healed by coinsident or we thought him into healing...an Atheist concept, or was it really God??? Or are you just going to call me a lier?!

Reverend Sharpton said "As for one Mormon running for office, those that really believe in God will defeat him anyway, so don't worry about that." Us Mormons really believe in God. And in the bible, it says not to judge your fellow beings. Maybe the rev. is judging us on this. May I also add that we read the Bible frevent;y. We pray often and we do as much as we cand to stay close to God. Your thoughts on the rev. words or anything else that I have mentioned.

Abraham was chosen to be a Great Prophet of the Creator of the Universe.

Abraham had two sons who were both to be blessed with a Holy Covenant .

The Holy Covenant are promises from The Lord of Abraham in return for taking on the responsibility to "Make Allah/God known to the World" and establishing the “laws of God” on the Earth.

Ishmael - first son - ISLAM
Issac - second son - JUDAISM & Christianity

JUDAISM is the covenant through Isaac.
ISLAM is the covenant through Ishmael.

St. Paul Created his own Covenant =

I just got back from London and Paris yesterday and was thrilled to catch a glimpse of paganism crossing with christianity in the form of the Green Man, historical pagan god of the woods, carved into many churches and cathedrals. I am curious as to what people of the christian faith think about this pagan god incorporated into their place of worship?

If you don't know who the Green Man (also referred to as Jack in the Green) is here are a couple of links

And to all you R&S regulars and irregulars - I missed you all terribly!

I don't know about everyone else but sometimes when i'm tired I don't feel like loving thy neighbour.

Why bother making us to require sleep? What would a healthy amount of sleep be from a medical point of view? about 7-8 hours? thats a third of our day, and therefore a third of our lives wasted by sleep! What a wasteful God, think of how many of his teachings we could be following in that time!

(Please no 'the Lord works in mysterious ways', or 'why dont you ask him', or any other answers that ignore the question)

Read this :

"The son of satan is a consummate imitator and much of his success in deceiving men is due to his marvelous skill in counterfeiting the things of God".

I think the son of satan is Mohammed SAW and Usamah bin Laden. Do you agree with me ?

I am wondering. If your child wanted to become a firefighter, or a lawyer, or a stay-at-home mom, would you stop them? Now, what if they decided they wanted to become Catholic, or Jewish, or even Wiccan, would you stop them?

Whether you believe in religion or not, it DOES work for some people (myself included). Why would we not want our children offered a chance to believe in religion, to see if it works for them? It seems to me that we, as a society, are making adult choices for children. And they aren't all working out. We allow fast food in schools, and now we have a near epidemic of childhood obesity. Coincidence? My point is, we are spoon-feeding them information, instead of teaching them HOW to think. I say let religion be taught along side evolution and let the kids learn for themselves.

Comments are appreciated, preferrably well thought out ones.

I understand that different religions teach different beliefs and a lot cross over into different interpretations that create conflicts... but really, you know when your doing something "wrong" inside... if you don't your lying to yourself or just brought up with the wrong values.
Why must we KILL over it? I understand protecting something you believe in but still think it's wrong to kill.
