Luke 22:19,20
"And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.'
Jesus said this... not Paul
Jeremiah 31:31-34
"Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares the LORD. "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Jesus said that he fulfilled the Law, and I believe tht he did. What Paul did was understand what that meant. Through understanding what Paul wrote, I can understand what that means too. Not many people really understand what Paul was saying, even Christians. This Christian understands because I noticed that Jesus and Paul were on the same page.
It's not my fault people don't get it. I hope that will change, but I'm not holding my breath.
Concepts to understand:
1) What Jesus meant by fulfilling the law.
2) What Paul was telling the Galatians, Romans, and Hebrews about the Law and Jesus Christ.
3) The reason why the Law was in place in the first place.
4) The Reason why they are called the Old Testament, and the New Testament.
5) What Paul meant by a testator, and the reason for a testator in relation to the Old and New Testament.
6) The difference between James and Paul's messeages.
7) What the Judaizer's were trying to preach.
8) What is meant by 'Types and Shadows of things to come.'
9) What ritual circumcision represented. (The Law)
10) Why Paul withstood Peter to his face.

Re-read Genesis 17:9-10 and you will notice that this is a convenant with Abraham and his descendants. It does not apply to anyone who is not Jewish.
The New Covenant, established by Jesus (not Paul), includes the Gentiles, who are not part of the Covenant of Circumcision. For a Christian to be circumcised as a religion obligation would remove him from the Christian Covenant, and place him in the Jewish Convenant, making the Christian Covenant invalid for him.

Where in scripture did Jesus say we need to be circumcised?
Paul was not creating a new covenant, he just stated that if you are circumcised as an adult, you are saying that the Crucifixion of Christ was not enough for salvation.
BTW: A child does not let himself be circumcised on the eight day. Only an adult has power over that choice. A child is circumcised according to the belief of his parents. In my case it was because of emphasis on health, not for religious reasons, and I was still in the hospital when it was done.
Paul was very strong on the point that there is nothing outside of the cross that can provide salvation. It is not faith plus works, but faith alone.
However if you have faith, you will also display works; not to be saved, but because you are saved.

And? To be precise, the new covenant was made with God, not between the Church and Paul. Just out of curiosity, what was the New Covenant that Jesus instituted? And Paul was talking to Gentiles, not to Jews. Since when did the covenant made with Abraham include the Gentiles?

You know , if you are going to quote the Bible . You should
quote the whole scripture to bring about its true meaning
and intended purpose . Any child of the Devil can do as you
have . Which is to pick certain words to deceive the weak
in Faith . Did not Satan himself do this with Jesus after he
was baptized in the Jordon river . Plus how do you know
that God made Jesus ? where did that come from ? For
as it says in Genesis he was with God in the making of
heaven & earth . You are in judgement of the God you think
you know . May God Reveal His Truth to you before Hell
consumes you , Amen.... F.Y.I. it was Matthhew who went
to the Jews with the Gospel . Matthew give a complete
genealogy that proved Jesus came from the line of David
From Joseph and with a little study you will see that Mary
also comes from the line of David . Matthew was very
thourgh and detailed at this . Plus he had all the facts from
scripture to point out our Saviour Jesus , which is what the
Jewish people needed to know of the ones God chose that
He would save.

Jesus, not Paul, made a new covenant and a covenant for a kingdom with his followers. The Christian law is named the Law of Faith.
When Christ died the Law Covenant was abolished according to God's will and the new covenants began operating.
