1Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. 2One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.

Some people's answers and questions get very wordy and are many paragraphs long....do you really think that people today with limited attention spans read the entire post?

I know I am guilty of rambling...and I realize most will skim over the ramblings at best....many will post page upon page of scripture or pages from their tracts, etc... do you think people read all of these?

Your opinions?

It's a (somewhat) rhetorical question. It's evident from these posts that your reptile brain rules most of you.

If so why did chose to create different ethnicities (not HOW)? If God is colorblind then is safe to say God is blind to the rich and poor.

Please think about your answers : )

Please only serious answers. I have faith and have excepted Jesus, baptized, etc. But I have a difficult time with most of the bible. My beliefs are quite different than most of what I think I'm reading.
So I want to know which is more important. I try to do the right things and travel down the right path. I pray, maybe not as often as I should. But I have no interest in reading the Bible. I cannot comprehend the writings. I have tried study bibles and etc. but feel that the more fustrated I get, the less of the chance I'm going to try again?
Help, I'm starting to feel lost!

Our priest said in mid-week service said that the Catholic's pope was a Nazi scout in his youngster. He described the pope as the young Rolf in the sound of music whose job is searching for the jew families and report them to the SS. Then SS capture them to the concentration camp and then...

And it was the German Evangelical Church which condemn the hollocaust, the Lutherans pretended nothing happened and the Catholic Church even seemed support them

Is that true, gosh... The Roman Catholic Church really needs to reform itself

As a Christian, I've always thought the reliability of the bible rested on whether it accurately recorded and transmitted God's interactions with man, rather than what any person's or group of persons' views of it were. Thus, how do we gain anything if the Founding Fathers were Christians, or lose anything if they weren't?
The same principle can be applied to Newton and Darwin as well. While it is my hope that they were saved, my faith wouldn't be shaken one bit if they weren't. And to argue one way or the other, I believe, detracts from what should be our true focus: God, as revealed by the bible.

"As a Christian, I was very disappointed in the Christian representatives. If that's the best they can do, then we should all become Atheists. "

Post from LochMessy: "Christians don't believe in atheists, they only believe in god, so you are wasting your time, I'm sorry to tell you." Have we broken new ground? I sure hope! Fellow Christians, way to go! It seems that your resiliency to some of the bad stuff(it's not all bad, mostly jokes) that goes on here has proven to this woman here that "We aint... goin' nowhere!" (courtesy of a rap song whose title escapes me at the moment)

John 10:27-30

27"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

29"My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

30"I and the Father are one."

Praise Him.

I sincerely mean no offense, I just don't understand what motivates anyone who doesn't believe in God. By that, I mean, one of the oldest Qs in the world is "why are we here?"

So, what is the meaning of life? If there is no meaning, why don't we just end it all now?

I wish I had an answer, but every piece of an answer I can come up with involves us helping each other. I don't want to do good for God (yes, I'm one of "those"), but because God/Jesus is a great role model. What does it for you?
