>> I mean those who have a degree in science I mean wouldn't you fail the tests? If you had to write a thesis disproving evolution with creationism ?What do you seriously think would happen? I'm sorry but creationism does not withstand scientific examination.

To Johnny...Evolution while not completely proven makes a lot more sense and stands a much greater chance of being proven than anything else .Got any scientific evidence that supports creationism?

>>To proximo :Well said but , I must reiterate my previous question : Where is the scientific evidence for creationism ? There is a great deal of it for evolution.

To believe in creation means rejecting science. But I imagine most creationists believe themselves to be "creation scientists." It doesn't require any education, experimentation or hard work, no doctorate degree or even a GED. Just pick up a bible and you too can be a creation scientist!

Lets all remember that its a "theory" of evolution and the "belief" in God created, there are no absolutes. Whether people make their stand on either it would still be considered a faith. What makes me laugh are these people who call creationists simple minded for having faith in what they believe. Isn't that a little hypocritical considering that the theory of evolution is just that?....a theory (or faith)

Chemists should have no problem with Creationism....it doesn't conflict with chemistry.

Biologists and Physicists.....no.

We have one (1) in a lab in my building, and she's a lousy scientist.

Lost of scientists have no problem with religion, BTW, it's only when religious people make us choose one or the other that we go with one.

Literal creationism, heck, biblical literalism, is not a requirement to be religious....or even Christian.

Evolution does not withstand scientific examination either. Scientist who believe in evolution did not decide this after they were educated-they already had faith in evolution.
About 45% of scientist do not accept evolution as a valid theory. Don't forget that. It will be very important someday.

I know of at least a dozen in our Church.
Keep this in mind they believe in both creationism, and evolution. God created. Things have evolved.

Edit. Pass a test? It's a TEST! Not a statement of personal beliefs.

Anyone can claim to be a scientist. Creationists typically do so. They claim to be expert scientists because god made them so. Worse than creationism are the IDiots. They pretend to be scientists, and yet they are idiots.

It's a dirty little secret that atheists would like to sweep under the rug, but a lot of respected scientists see no conflict between science and religion.

It never ceases to amaze me that there are people out there that don't believe in evolution. Are they insane? I thought only the fringe of religious wacko's still denied evolution.

Please creationists, do not mate or reproduce. Thanks.

ur right, but then ur wrong. Normally, people who become scientists become Creationists because of all the evidence (u got it the other way around).
