Yep, begging the question. The argument relies on the assumption that humans are creations.
Let's say the wind blew on a pecan tree at the exact moment I was walking beneath it and a pecan fell out and landed on my head. The pecan dropped from the tree, therefore there must be a dropper. Same logic. Or we can apply the argument of intelligent design. If you took all the branches, leaves, and pecans from the same pecan tree and shook them up in a box, what are the chances that the same pecan would fall out of the box and land on my head in the exact same spot? This is a logical fallicy known as the argument of complexity. It debunks the watch in a box scenraior as well as the throwing a dart across the universe analogy.

I find it interesting that we rely on the argument of a person to determine whether or not God exists... as if we make that determination. God exists whether we believe or not or argue well or not. This is a great example of mankind trying to prove or disprove something that we won't be able to fully understand until we are passed from this earth. For those who need good arguments to keep them going, more power to them. Personally, I'm not very interested in this stuff. I know God exists not because of a great argument or lack thereof and not due to paintings or anything like that. I know God exists because He has revealed Himself to me in so many ways that denying Him would be foolish! No more proof necessary! Be blessed!

God does not have to prove himself and the debate did nothing for him. The two representing him could have done better but God will be the judge. If you go to a debate already knowing the results--youve only gone to see your team win. Minds are already closed

Seriously? The banana guy v. rational responders?
Ugh...
How about Sam Harris v. Desmond Tutu. That would have been interesting.

As a Christian, I was very disappointed in the Christian representatives. If that's the best they can do, then we should all become Atheists.

They might as well have said, "Every rose has its thorn". It would have been equally as silly.
