In fairness, they could do a lot better than the Banana Guy. (The atheists could do a lot better than the RR people too!)

As a debate the Chrisitian representatives were not well prepared for the showdown. Personally I think how you are brought up plays in to your beliefs and what you go through. I believe in God because that is how I was brought up and also because of the things Ihave been through some of which I cannot explain. Have I questioned His existence? yes. It is a matter of choice who you want to believe in. Its like Santa Claus and the tooth fairy, you believed they existed at some point till you figured it out for your self that they were actually made up. Some still believe till today. You choose.

I even have seen a great variety of those debates. They proportion one element in common. religious "leaders" so crammed with themselves they use each and every little thing however the Bible. all of them have rejected it. Their solutions are continuously incorrect so why might every person assume them to win a debate? using the reality contained interior the Bible might settle issues. yet they are hypocrites and should lose.

The Christian point of view would have been better off with Pat Robertson and Jimmy Swaggert. Don't like either of them every much but they do know what they are talking about as to showing that God exists.

Still the atheist point of view was not convincing either. Pretty lame if you ask me. The same old, same old, without any real evidence one way or the other. As always they claim that God is not there, but can't prove that he isn't.

The Christian side should have forced them to explain evolution. Which, of course, other the the voodoo science of "natural selection", there is no explanation.

I'm sorry, but I didn't see the debate. But I believe if the Christians got 'smashed' it's because they were ones that didn't know the Bible and could not speak confidently of it.

Yeah, I think we could have gotten much better people.
Much, much better people.

I'd like to have smarter people representing me, personally.

Kirk Cameron. C'mon. Enough said. Don't kick them while they are down, they didn't elect him.
