the Pope to comment of affairs of sexual nature (sex, abortion, homosexuality)? If he doesn't play the game why should he make the rules? Surely, if he is really a virgin, he knows nothing regarding this matter and is not qualified to comment!

i met a man that became a friend of mine. we'd watch football together and all...and he is a JW.
And after knowing him for a while he called me and said he cannot be my friend anymore, because the elder says im not a sheperd of the JW flock..
What made him feel that way? to me it sounds such like a mind controlling religion....
please help me understand actually why he cant be my buddy? Why do JW people cannot be a part of this world of having different friends and all??
i miss my buddy so my feelings are hurt....

Did he give them language? They already knew all the words they would need? Did he give them skill at walking and those kinds of things? Did he pre-program their muscle tone so they'd be able to stand?

How about socialization? We humans take years of learning how to interact with others. How did Adam and Eve know?

or did Jesus Christ appoint an earthly Head to His Church?

I found it reading the Holy Bible that the Lord Jesus Christ is the sole King and only Head of His Church and He never appointed any earthly Head of His Church.

My research mention in Matthew 16:18 "Thou art Peter and upon this Rock I will build my church."

The rock on which the Church is founded is not Peter, but Peter's confession, "thou art the Christ" mention in Matthew 16:16.

And Paul explicitly states, "For other foundation can "NO MAN" lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ". (1 Cor. 3:11). To take Peter as the foundation flatly contradicts this passage.

Regarding the key of Peter? The keys were used by Peter in preaching to the Jews on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2); to the household of Cornelius (Acts 14:27 cf. Acts 10); and to the Gentiles (Acts 11:18).

Last Night on *Nightline* Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort were in a debate with 2 Atheists and a audience of believers and un-believers, the christians were attacked in a vicious way
and the atheists appear to have some un-founded anger, I assume that GOD is self consuming and wants worship in a way they think a human being does. (Which is totally in-correct)

I guess Dr Gupta on CNN is correct when he states research on believers and un-believers showed the believers to be more at Peace with themselves, less depressed less angry, having a better outlook on life and a sense of well being that many Atheists do not share in, last night that show reflected the Anger Atheists have and the Peace the Christians have.

Your Thoughts?
Atheists still did not say How Creation came to be....Maybe because the only answer there will ever be is GOD created everything...

Cause in the past Prophets had many wives and now only Muslims have this great favor !!

First let me state that I fully appreciate that the vast majority of Christians do not take Genesis literally and accept evolution as science. So this question is really for the bible literalists only.

1) Do you actually believe that ALL animals were orignally herbivores according to Genesis 1:30? Lions were eating grass? Tapeworms were sucking on mushrooms, mosquitoes were sipping nectar and sharks were munching on kelp? If so, why were they designed with sharp canine incisors and not the crushing grinding teeth found in cows and horses? What about their lack of a digestive system to deal with an all-veg diet? Why are their very design so well adapted to being the predators or blood suckers we know them to have been for millions of years?

2) Do you believe plants were created before there was sun for life-essential photosynthesis according to Genesis 1:11? This is especially for those who believe the "days" were actually ions of time?

In most languages, especially in Spanish, when an "a" is added to the end of a name or anything else, it becomes femenine form. Do people know this? so is Allah a girl or a boy? I speak Spanish so everytime I think of Allah, I think of a girl..

The question "Should religion be banned because it is the cause of most wars?" gets asked a lot on this site. If religion was the cause of most wars, why do so many major wars in history seem to have no link to any religion?
