I used to sing in a youth group at church and they told me I had to raise my hands when I was on stage in order to be in the band....Isn't that crap??? How the hell can they tell me how to pray...no wonder I rarely go to church....

Are you sure you don't believe in God?
Could it just be that you don't believe in institutionalized church?
These two things are commonly confused and usually understood to be the same thing... This is far from the truth.
God may actually be the REASON you did not appreciate the ways of the church. He may have instilled the feelings within you that "Hey, this doesn't seem right. I shouldn't be amongst these people who CALL themselves of God."
Think about it...
---Reply:: I'm always available to chat, if you would like. I was in the exact same predicament as you at one point; pushed away from the church, wasn't sure who to believe. It was years later that I started seeking the truth on my own terms that I found God; or really rather, God found me.
This may be hard to understand, but if you would like to, you can always Email me or IM me on Yahoo!IM (Both contact info's are in my profile). I'm available all the time. =D

Is it fairly indispensable to invite her to vow to jot down you again? If she love you up to you like her, she's going to do those calling & writing with out you asking her. Also, there are a few spelling errors. Do attempt to repair them if feasible. Overall, this letter is candy. It's spectacular that you simply saved monitor of what number of days you spent together with her. Not many guys do this... Well, I do not care a lot approximately maintaining monitor too so it is much more spectacular.

You can worship in your own way, find another church ... just like there are many different councelors for people, there are many different Churches, you need to seek out a different one. You shouldn't be made to do that. You shouldn't be made to do anything in any certain way, it's all about choice.

Seems like they were more concerned with presentation than worship, but never allow people to come between yourself and God.

You don't have to tell me you rarely go to Church. Your language tells it all.

If you are going to let people stand in the way of your relationship with God... that doesn't seem fair or wise!

That point does not bother me currently. Were there other things that bothered you about that congregation at that time?
